We always stay nearby on our way heading south and decided to go here for dinner. Place was busy but we were seated right away. The menu is huge and there is everything in it that you could possibly want. They bring out warm tortillas and salsa right away and always have drink specials. I didn't feel like anything heavy so I got a salad with grilled shrimp and chicken and it was excellent. I didn't even need to add any dressing to it. We also got the tacos and they were good as well. The prices are reasonable and I recommend if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels.

We stopped in for dinner. Our server was fantastic. The salsa is wonderful. The fajita were good. The quesadilla was good. The taco salad, stay away from! The ground beef was placed on top of wet lettuce, so by the time the salad arrived it was soooooooaked! Other than the salad, dinner was great. We’d come back again, but wouldn’t get the taco salad!

Very convenient to 95 Exit 45. Close to many hotels like Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. Huge menu. Travelers running late can still catch dinner. 11pm closing Friday and Saturday. 10 pm weeknights and 9 Sundays. Huge creative menu. Very fair priced. Great quality

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! We had just traveled all day and checked into a hotel across the street. We didn’t want to drive so figured we’d check it out. It was truly excellent. Great menu choices. I had the chicken special. Seasoned chicken cooked with onions red peppers green and yellow squash in a special sauce over rice. Chicken melt in your mouth. Veggies fresh and perfectly cooked. Husband always has tacos. Great, colorful decor. Loved our server Amy—only day 2 for her she was terrific!

We stopped at El Arriero for dinner on our way up US-95 heading home. It was very convenient location off the highway and we enjoyed a nice meal. Service was fast and attentive. Although we couldn’t enjoy a margarita we did order a couple ice teas. They were large and served in a frosty mug. They served us chips and 2 sauces. One traditional salsa (med hot) and a white sauce that was slightly sweet. We ordered a couple enchilada plates (1 pork the other chicken). They were served hot in no time. Both were enjoyed. Needless to say the portions allowed us to have some left overs. I recommend El Arriero and hope to stop there again.

Like others have said, this place ticks all the boxes! Very funky decor, Service was exceptional and friendly: we couldn’t believe how quickly our food arrived. Drinks were great: massive drafts and margaritas. Free house made nacho chips to start.
My husband had the Texas fajita and it was a huge portion of mixed meats and veggies topped with massive succulent shrimp. I had burritos which were just stuffed with chicken and ground beef. It was a wonderful meal and I would be a regular if I lived nearby.
As we we staying at the Holiday Inn across the street we also got a 10% discount on the food, which was already very reasonably priced

My wife and I ate dinner here on March 12, 2023. Our server Eynor was awesome. Our quesadillas and margaritas were delicious. My parents and my father-in-law were from MĂ©xico so we know Mexican cuisine. This cuisine was authentic. And the decor and music were terrific.

The service and the food was excellent. The waitress came immediately we were seated and took our drink order. The food was served hot and was delicious. The dips for the chips were excellent. As we left we were thanked for coming and hoping we had a good time.

Nice selection of Tex-Mex favorites and authentic cuisine. Lots of food at a very family-friendly price. They also make a good, stiff cocktail. I stopped with my family while traveling to Florida on vacation and will make it a point to stop again on our return trip.

Went with friends. Very eclectic decor. Needs to organized better. Everything needs to have a place. Seems like people bump into stuff and it just stays like that. Some of the electrical outlets at table are missing covers, which made me nervous. Made me wonder how clean the place was. The food was great and the price was right though!!

Excellent service and delicious food! We ordered table side guacamole and an entree a piece. A burrito and pollo filez. Highly recommend! Cold/strong drinks. Doesn’t get any better than that!

I agree with all the reviews, my sever Ivan was fantastic.
I had the chicken burritos with Rojo sauce and he also brought out a sample of the homemade mole sauce

Our first time here. Our team was staying across the street at a hotel. TripAdvisor ratings has this restaurant at #1. And you will not be disappointed. Very friendly staff. Attentive service. Food is served within minutes of ordering. Delicious and authentic.

Great place to eat if travelign alone. I set at a hightop table in the causal bar area. The food was great. Lots of side choices. (Not just beans and rice.)
