I have eaten at The Swinging Bridge restaurant several times and it never disappoints! The breakfast is very good and reasonably priced. The bacon was crispy and they give you plenty of food! The supper was also great, plenty of food and the service is wonderful. Allie our waitress was very attentive and nice, very personable. I highly recommend The... More

We decided to drive here today for a buffalo burger. While the drive was long it was beautiful. This restaurant is great. We arrived early so there were not a lot of people yet. The server was wonderful, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. We finished our meal and asked to keep our table... More

Great atmosphere. Beautiful drive across the mountains. Limited offerings on menu and rather pricey. Two people aren't getting out of there for less than $30-$40 even if you have sandwiches. Food is 'iffy", sometimes good, sometimes not. Service is not as good as it should be for a upper end restaurant. One or two of the servers are excellent, the... More

This place is very cool especially if you have kids (there is literally a swinging bridge in the upstairs gift shop over the dining room). The grounds are gorgeous and just like the Depot Lodge B&B everything is very clean and restored with superb attention to detail. The cooking is very good with a hometown honest feel. I've had the... Great place to sightsee with the family and the buffalo cuisine is tasty. Bit of a wait on crowded days, but lots of interesting rustic relics to enjoy while you wait.

Cute place with friendly waitstaff and excellent country cooking. No nouvelle cuisine here, but you can't go wrong with the country breakfasts, fried chicken and pie. Nice atmosphere with a country store and gift shop attached.

Not because the food is great, but rather because this is the only way to "enjoy" the over-priced miserable fare that they serve. Award winning? Seriously? It's the only game in town. This place was recommended to us but my wife and I thought it was awful. My buffalo sandwich, "the dish that everyone comes back for" was meat in... More

Fantastic décor with the actual swinging bridge. Fabulous Buffalo farm and the food is outstanding. Buffalo burger and B-que to die for and love the cobbler. So worth our 3 hr drive from WV.
