Went with another couple and we all enjoyed our meal. Each couple shared the seafood chowder for an entree, and it was wonderful. Full of seafood but no mussel's which made it very good. Main course was great as well. Too full for desert, but had coffee which was a very good one. We had a bottle of their wine... More

Very nice poached pear/goats cheese entrée, the pork belly really was divine, while its often too fatty elsewhere, this was melt in your mouth, had a lovely hidden mustard centre suprise & was very lean :). Hmm im often a steak fan here because Ake Ake do it so well, & better than many but I think I will repeat... More

Make sure you book in advance as the restaurant was BUSY - but after we'd eaten we understood why! Delicious food, great service and interesting wines - also cool little details like platters made from partial slats of recycled wine barrels... By the apparently multi-talented chef, no less! A lovely family run vineyard & restaurant with friendly and unpretentious service,... More

We enjoyed the times we have been there. The setting is very nice looking over the vineyard and hens walking around.

A small vineyard off the main highway outside of Kerikeri. While we were there for dinner, we were given several sample of their wine. The Chambourcin was fantastic. The food and setting were great. The evening was warm so we sat in a covered patio about 10 yards from the vines. Worth a visit for both the food and wine.

Service good - selection varied and all of the choices the 4 of us had were very good. Very tasty, well prepared and a place we would revisit. Wine selection good - whilst not cheap well worth the money.
