This is a good spot for a quick lunch, and was great that it was open an a Tuesday lunchtime when many others are closed in winter. I enjoyed the carrot and ginger soup, the chilli nachos also looked good. The staff were friendly. We...enjoyed sitting in the covered area to the side.More

We visited this cafe on a nice sunny day and I most say that we enjoyed sitting on the little outside area at the street side. Staff was also very friendly, but food not so good. The pie my husband had was very blend. He...needed a lot of tomato sauce to give it a bit of taste. I choose for a toasted sandwich and this was also not a good choice. The coffee was reasonable, but nothing special. Next time we will be in Greytown, we will try one of the many more choices.More

Absolutely delicious. Plenty of chicken, flavour and light pastry. Always been great pies but this was superb.

Enjoyed our lunch stop at this rather rustic been around for years cafe. It had just been taken over by new owners so i hope they do up some of the tired and mis-matched decor . Service was super friendly and food was pretty good...over all . We will be returning guests next time we are over that way !More

Local quirkinesses may be a valid description if this friendly welcoming cafe. Eat indoors or outdoors or take away something from the cabinet. The great food was only surpassed by the wonderfully warm service. Best scrambled eggs I have had for ever.

We had been recommended to come to Cahoots by a volunteer in the Cobblestones Museum and Cahoots did not let us down. It was a busy time on a Sunday morning but nothing was too much trouble,

Superb pies - all day long! The pies & sausage rolls here are some of the best in the world. OMG - Steak & Cheese... or the Mince...such top quality product with outstanding flavours. I adore these pies! If you are travelling through from Wellington...northward, stop here...get a pie & coffee . You will not regret it.More

We stopped here for a light lunch on our way from Wellington to Napier. This cafe is unpretentious, with friendly staff and a pleasant homely atmosphere. I had a ham, cheese and tomato toasty and it was done just right, I really enjoyed it.

We were recommended to have lunch at this cafe where all the locals go. I had a tasty pie and my husband had a bacon sandwich and a delicious fruit cake. It was homely, unpretentious, popular, inexpensive and worth the visit
