Stopped here with friends for coffee in the afternoon on ANZAC Day - friendly service, nice coffee, interesting desserts/cake selection.

This restaurant has a prime position with views across the Indian ocean and north Cottlesloe beach. We dined for lunch and reserved a balcony table with a gorgous sunny spot. The service was prompt and friendly .The food was a bit expensive .wines 12.50 and desserts 14.00 and up.. My feta and carrot and fennel fritters with a lime and... More

Although the prices at the door and the post-ordering wait was a little prohibitive, the food served at Barchetta was well worth it. We ate two of the daily specials: the slow braised beef cheek and the crispy skinned salmon. We also ordered the Margherite Pizza, Duck Fat potatoes, rosemary salted chips and a kid's mini steak sandwich. The beef... More

Book a table on the balcony for breakfast or 530 onwards for dinner and to watch the sunset. The Perth sunset is possibly the most beautiful in the world. A cocktail on the desk of Barchetta is a lovely way to watch the sun sink into the sea. I really enjoyed the risotto but the special of the day -... More

We last visited the area 6yrs ago and this was one of the places we stopped at. Currently staying up the road at Mindarie and just had to make a return visit. The location is the same but the area has really been developed and we hardly recognised the surrounding area. However, once inside it was like we'd never been... More

We had a beautiful shared meal between four of us, seated on the far LHS of the balcony. It was a lovely quiet corner and the shared foods, pizza and chips followed by deserts was simply divine. Highly recommend the beetroot cake 😊

Had lunch sitting on the balcony, overlooking Cottesloe Beach. The frekkeh and strawberry salad was delicious and the coffee was strong and flavoursome. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Had the hamburger and chips today. Very disappointed as the burger meat pattie was overcooked and the chips pretty ordinary. Definitely not worth $29

Barcetta is in a gorgeous location looking over Cottesloe beach. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food and coffee were excellent. Parking is not plentiful on the road but it is well worth visiting if you can. Decor is simple and a little worn and could do with a little sprucing up in the near future. It is... More

The site Barchetta now stands on has been serving refreshments to the locals and tourists for almost 50 years. First as a kiosk where children could get ice creams and beach-goers cold drinks and snacks. It then evolved into the North Cott Cafe and was "the" place for breaky by the beach. It became Barchetta in 2002 and now has a flourishing food, wine and coffee trade lasting from dawn until dusk.
