Mains of lamb and eye fillet were both v nice with lamb being the winner according to my wife and myself. Jus on both was to die for with lamb being... More

Half way through our 4 course menu i realized this place is special and it is a privilege to be here. Without menu completion i already anticipate return for the alacarte menu sooner rather than later.

From the décor to the food and the amazing selection of cognac, armagnac, as well as the excellent and knowledgeable service the dinner was without fault. We were there in October 2014, but I can't put that date in the drop down.

This restaurant serves an interesting selection of well flavoured and beautifully presented food. The service is attentive and the waiting staff are very well informed.

We were recommended to this restaurant by Healesville locals, and we were not disappointed. The service and food were excellent, as of course were the wines. This is a premium restaurant with numerous awards under their belt, and the experience was entirely worthy of the premium price we happily paid.,

If you're only requirement is a beautiful room you'll be fine, if you're after even an average High Tea go elsewhere. Waited over an hour for a cup of tea, scones like biscuits, bread dry, cakes disappointing, nothing fresh. I know you can do better than this, so bad will never go back.

This was a treat from children, beyond our normal eating experience due to cost. The atmosphere was peaceful, lovely views and the young staff engaging and attentive. We enjoyed the two course choice, spanner crab and the pork belly. Small serve, looked like art on a plate. For mains we both selected the steak, rare and medium rare were beautiful,... More

The decor is tired and the whole place dated and in need of refurbishment. We waited over an hour for our second course to be told they were short staffed. Food very poor and wine very expensive. Avoid, there are loads of nicer places to eat nearby.
