The food is outstanding and service is great! We didn't have reservations, but that ended up well. We sat at the bar which surrounds the kitchen. We could watch each cooking station and had entertaining conversations with the staff. I was surprised to hear that...More

We had a lovely evening meal here. Although the place was extremely busy we managed to get a table quickly, food was delicious and wait staff attentive.

We stop by for happy hour. The atmosphere was amazing! Good live music. Very disappointed with the drinks. I think they forgot the alcohol... Just saying

We stopped here for appetizers (yummy) and a drink (also yummy) one evening during happy hour. A great bargain - live Island music.

Our last night in Maui we had a beachfront outside table at Hula grill. Our waiter Hernan could not have provided us with better service. From the excellent meal, to the drinks to the sunset, We could not have chosen a better spot.

Great view, live music and good food. The place is kids friendly and the service was excellent. A hint - if you want to see the sunset at any of the restaurants on Kaanapali Beach make a reservation at 5pm.

At first I was concerned, because they had an abbreviated menu for lunch hour. My concern was unjustified. What a great restaurant! The ceviche is second to none. The fish tacos are phenomenal. The chicken wings are traditional but with an island flare. A great...More

I would check the time for sundown in the month you visit online. I would arrive half hour beforehand to get the drinks and food out before that time. It is a popular time, and you need to reserve as soon as possible - week... More

Sorry it took so long to answer your question. You know while we were there, I didn't hear anyone (staff)sing happy birthday to anyone. I think your best bet would be to give them a call and ask directly. The two times I... More

On the water's edge on Kaanapali Beach, Hula Grill offers a stunning view of the Pacific and of the islands of Lanai and Molokai that has to be seen to be believed. From this distinctly Hawaiian vantage point, you are invited to join us as we celebrate the hospitality, culture and cuisine of the islands. Dinner is served in our open-air dining room where you can relax in the ambiance of a plantation era beach house while enjoying renown chef Peter Merriman's Hawaii regional seafood that isn't only a favorite of vacationers, but locals, too. Hawaiian fresh fish and locally grown produce are combined to create amazing menu offerings that are as colorful as they are flavorful. Fiery sunsets are served up daily along with live Hawaiian entertainment. Our Barefoot Bar offers a more casual menu serving both lunch and dinner under authentic thatch roof umbrellas and a sand floor where you can sink your toes in. The Barefoot Bar is seated on a walk-in basis only.
