The location right on the boardwalk offers fantastic views of the ocean while you dine in this open air location. The food was great and easy walking distance from many of the local resorts on the boardwalk.

We ate here twice because we're staying at Honda Kai Resort, and was disappointed both times. First visit server seemed to be going through the motions and food was average. Second visit the service was excellent but food was pretty bad. Location makes it worthy of a visit. Doing it twice was just a poor decision on our part.

We discovered Dukes on our second day when we walked down the beach, about 10 min from The Westin Ka'anapali. We just had coffee and decided we will come back for lunch. We went about 4 times for lunch, not necessary to book. And once for dinner but the wait was too long so we booked for another time and went... More

For two years in a row, we have officially started our vacation in Maui with brunch on the open patio at Dukes Beach House restaurant. The perfect transition having a freshly squeezed mimosa or a Ali'i' Bloody Mary overlooking the Maui beach. Have enjoyed the banana/macnut pancakes and the Wahine omlelot (all sorts of unique ingredients like pahole ferns, taro,... More

Make reservations early. We waited for availability, but were able to be seated after 30 min. When I first saw how far I was going to have to walk, I almost backed down, but we asked for a wheelchair. Glad we did, had a wonderful meal. The fish is fresh or they fooled me. Both of us had fish and... More

We love Dukes. Everytime we travel to Hawaii we can count on a good meal here. Make reservations or be prepared to wait for a seat with a drink in hand. Live music is always good and even though it is a small menu, I have never been disappointed. Have fun and enjoy a mai tai

We did not make a reservation so expected to wait a bit but were getting a little annoyed when people that arrived after us were being seated before us. It seems if you go to the bar and start buying drinks you may move up on the list. We were told it was a 30 minute wait and ended up... More

I love this place! . At Happy Hour I had a couple of Kohana's. What a great drink. We came back for dinner. The filet mignon was fabulous. I had mine with lobster, his was with the coconut shrimp. Yum! Don't forget to order Hula pie for dessert.

We've eaten here several times, for Breakfast and Dinner, and have never been disappointed. The Very Best Loco Moco on Maui. Hands down. Delicious. Tender beef, rich gravy, eggs cooked to perfection. Can't wait to go back!
