We took a ferry to Culebra for the day and had a 9PM boat ride back. We were looking for a restaurant within walking distance to the ferry dock. 10 of us came in here for a 630 reservation. We were early and they took...us in.
The service was good. Everyone was very friendly. The food was outstanding. All the seafood was very fresh. The risottos were also tasty. I had the Argentinian Churrasco. The flavor of chimichurri was perfect on the skirt steak. The mussels were the biggest hit and are still talked about.
The prices are very reasonable. We left feeling satisfied.More
One of the best. This was our second best meals during a two week vacation in Culebra. Had the lobster, which was excellent. Butter sauce if you wanted to dip. My wife had lobster rice dish which she really enjoyed. They claim to have the...best margarita in Culebra, and I agree.More
This place is great !!! I went twice on my one week trip to Culebra. On my first trip I had there stuffed sword fish , which was actually sword fish topped with a seafood stuffing. And a side of lobster risotto. Honestly I am...from Coastal New England and kind of a seafood snob. I don’t normally like Caribbean seafood, this was really good. Second trip I ordered prime rib. Which was actually a ribeye steak. Perfectly done. With a delicious side salad. I had every intention of trying the bread pudding on both trips but was more than full. Staff and drinks were both great. I recommend making reservations. Funny thing . I made reservation under Pete. Apparently who ever answered the phone thought I said “Peach” on my return trip I was greeted by Liz the owner as “Peach”More
We tried many restaurants on the island, this had to be hands down the worst. We almost went to a competing restaurant twice but wanted to try a different one. The total time it took for us to dine was about 2 1/2 to 3...hours. We had the server tell us they forgot about us which was fine, we get stuff happens but then we had 3 other girls come out and everything just took forever. We didn’t get waters til atleast 30 minutes after being there but it was around 8 and most places closed around 9 so we stayed. We ordered the conch salad, mussels, and stuffed fish. Conch salad was not very good, the mussels were over cooked but had a good flavor, and the stuffed fish was awful. It had this sauce that didn’t seem to pair well and a overly large amount of onions on top. I’m all for onions but even for me it was a bit too much. We were very disappointed because the reviews were good and literally EVERYTHING prior that we had for all of our meals on the island was absolutely delicious. I wanted to just briefly mention my experience because I had to get up to find someone to pay the check too. The older lady with glasses who I assumed was the manager blamed it on the last girl we had serving and said because she was back from college. She was standing right there too.... it was tacky and I told the young girl it was not her fault and she was very nice. I then told the manager that it was the experience in the entirety and that we did not just have her serving. She didn’t seem to care, which is fine, but I guess if you serve tourists and get new ones... you don’t really have to care.More
Looked over the menu and decided what to order. Waited a while and waitress (?) informed us that no menu items with pasta was available and there were several items with pasta. In order to give them the benefit of doubt we didn’t arrive there...until 7:45 hoping to avoid the dinner rush. Uncooked pasta does not spoil too quickly so why wouldn’t they have plenty on hand? Second choice was a skirt steak. The steak was available but the chimechurri sauce that was supposed to be with it was not available. I ordered my steak medium cooked. When I got my steak it was just barely warm and the center was raw. I never send any food back to the kitchen since I saw the movie “waiting”. But, I did send my steak back to the kitchen. I got it back and it was still too rare for medium so I sent it back again. I was disgusted at this point. It took 45 minutes to get our meals which wasn’t so bad since the atmosphere here on Culebra is really laid back. Another thing I noticed was that every other table had cloth napkins and our silverware was wrapped in paper napkins. Not a big deal but I guess they ran out of linen napkins too. Not sure why the sub-par service but I will never visit this restaurant again.More

Most amazing meal! We made reservations as recommended and were glad we did because they were packed. We were seated quickly and served drinks right away. I had the Bushwalker (a bit different than the typically offered bushwacker on the island!) and man did it...creep up on me! I had the Caribbean lobster with a side of risotto and it was out of this world! BEST lobster I’ve ever had. We were too stuffed for dessert but will definitely return when we come back.More
