Gorgeous beach in BVI. I would make it a priority to go if you go to the islands. It's much nicer than any beach in the USVI. We took a Charter boat to get there. The water is so clean and clear. We sat on lounge chairs for hours and the kids swam in the turquoise water.

Nice place but in my opinion a must do simply because when you say you went to Jost Van Dyke, the response will be "Did you swim up to the Soggy Dollar Bar?" Why do they call it the Soggy Dollar Bar? Because when you come in on the boats, there is no dock to tie up to thus you... More

On numerous recommendations, while on a Norwegian Escape cruise at port in Tortola, we decided to visit Soggy Dollar Bar. The beach is gorgeous; the crowds that day were not bad, so very relaxing. But FYI the Jost Van Dyke ferry does NOT land on the beach at Soggy Dollar Bar. It lands at a dock on the opposite side... More

Everyone knows and loves Soggy their painkillers and great view. It is always a must stop on any trip to Jost and our last trip was as good as our last. I just wanted to mention that we had great service the last time we were here. I forgot to hit the ATM before Jost and did not have enough... More

The place that gave us Painkillers. The island is a small paradise. I was rather dissapointed that when our boat left they did not forget me there. A true gem. Easiy one of the coolest places I have ever visited. Absolutely nothing bad to say.

Visited here during a week of sailboat charter. Tied up to buoy (pay fee at Ivan's) and used dingy to shore but many visitors swim to shore. Several other good adjacent bars but Soggy is the anchor venue. Very good variety of local beverages. Great for people watching.

This was the last stop on our Baddy Kitty boat tour. This beach is fun with numerous bars and places to eat. People just pull there boats up, wade through the crystal clear water to the beach and enjoy the sun!!!

This is a great location with fantastically blue sea and it's great fun swimming to shore from your boat. This was my second visit, the previous one in 2008. The painkillers were not as good as I remembered which was disappointing. Great souvenir shop for those essential SDB purchases. Definitely worth a visit and hopefully the painkillers willl be back... More

We spent an amazing day here recently, while on a cruise. You literally jump into the water and walk/swim up to the beach. They have free Wi-Fi and the drinks are amazing. Finally, the view is unbelievable.
