This stop was very different from the rest of our peaceful trip. Lots of boats, people and action going on. The drinks were perfect! We did some shopping too. It was a wonderful experience on our dream vacation.
I wish I could give this place a 5 star review because it was such a cool place. However I left my cell phone in a backpack, on a table while we played bags 5-10 feet away and it was stolen. I followed up with...More
This is a fun beach bar but way overrated! Nice bathrooms and good seating. We were “underchanged” after we bought some drinks. We brought it up to the bartender but he seemed pretty clear we were in the wrong. They were to busy to really...More
Wasn’t our cup of tea. Over rated but enjoyed the beach and walk to Ivan’s bar where we moored. Too commercial...cruise ships in the bay and too crowded. We should have gone to foxys in next bay in hindsight...probably more a sailors spot and less...More
We enjoyed drinks at the Soggy dollar bar. Great view. Lots of people from around the world. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. Get there early because the bay fills up pretty early. They also have a nice Soggy dollar merchandise store.

You may take an excursion there as it is a secluded island. Check with your cruise for an excursion there. It is around $130 p/p. You will most likely arrive in Tortola and the Soggy Bar is in Jost Van Dyke. You may also take a ferry, but on a cruise port the time is limited, so you will be better off taking the excursion to avoid missing your cruise. Enjoy the BVI!
