Not much more to say than the Soggy Dollar lives up to its reputation. One of the most relaxing days ever. Happy people standing in the perfect sand and crystal clear water with rum drinks. Food is good too, but did I mention rum drinks?

We took the ferry to Jost Van Dyke and then a 5 minute taxi ride to get to Soggy Dollar Bar. It was a rainy day, but it was still busy! After trying their Pain Killers, I could see why. What also set itself apart from other bars is that other people from anywhere in the world can buy you... More

The Soggy Dollar Bar is the best beach bar in the world. Period! Home of the "Painkiller". A must-reach destination for any true sailor or beach lover!

One of the oldest and best know watering holes in the BVI. Legend has it that the Pusser's Pain Killer was first concocted here.

Absolutely one of our favorite destinations in the Caribbean! It's just hard to describe how cool this place is - so throw out the anchor, swim up and buy some Painkillers with your Soggy Dollars!

Just to say you been there cuz of what it takes to get there... beware of the pain killers and bushwackers!! They will take away your pain and they do sneak up on you!! It's a good thing there are big hammocks laced in the beach trees cuz that's where you will sleep off those drinks. They are soooo good!... More

Just wanted to check the place out. Had a Painkiller. Checked out the badges, checked out the gift store. The badges are the most impressive. Good service. Of course you still need to go here.

We visited one an afternoon on an island tour expecting it to be "the" cool place to hang out, but my impression was that its become a "soggy" victim of its own success.. not very cool, overrun with tourists, mostly just merchandising with bartenders pouring lightly mixed tropical drinks out of a warm milk jug. Nothing special, even their infamous... More

Best Pain Killers and Margaritas on the island. The bar tender lady is very professional and proud of her craft. She will explain to you why her Margaritas taste better but Pain Killer is a trade secret. She grates real nutmeg on your pain killer, not just the bottled powdery type. No other bar's Pain Killers come even close.

We had dinner here. You can't go cheap on this island. Figure $30 for the entre and $30 more for salad, drinks and gratuity. Good food, though.
