I have had several opportunities to come back to Cynthia’s and each time has been amazing. She is most welcoming to all her guests and the food is outstanding. Everything is home cooked and delicious! I look forward to returning here next time I’m in...the BVI’s!More

There are few people in this world like Cynthia. She is hospitable because she honestly, with her heart, cares about you. A night or two docked at Harris' is part of the rare experiences that ignite our travel flame. I could list all the reasons...why, or you can go see for yourself. I promise you wont be disappointed!More

We had the opportunity to visit with Cynthia at her wonderful establishment, Harris’. She spent about 45 minutes telling us stories of her childhood, how her dad accomplished his dream of opening this restaurant and how she is carrying forward his legacy. Cynthia is working...very hard to build back from the devastation of Hurricane Irma and she is doing a fantastic job. She made us her very special Pain Killers that were the best we ever had. The time we spent with Cynthia was priceless. We look forward to many returns!More

Just got back from the BVIs, and I’m excited to write this post about Harris’s Place and the amazing Cynthia Jones. I celebrated my birthday dinner here with my family while on vacation. We feasted on lobster soup (sooooo good), salad and….lobster! Oh my, the...lobsters were HUGE and soooooo tasty. Delicious key lime pie for dessert. While the food was the best in the BVIs, the true star is Cynthia Jones, owner/host/chef/entertainer, etc. She serenaded me with a lovely Happy Birthday song and treated us all like family. Make Harris’s a stop during your stay at the BVIs. Bring cash (credit cards not taken). It also has one of the best dinghy docks on the islands!More

Our family had the pleasure of experiencing lunch at Harris Place recently. Our hostess Cynthia could not have been more welcoming! We were treated to a 4 course from heaven! Each course far exceeded our expectations. Top that off with the best Bush whackers in...the BVI! If you're in JVD you need to discover this hidden gem!More

Our trip to the BVI's (that had been rescheduled twice thanks to COVID) finally happened and the one dinner we were most looking forward to was lobster @ Harris's. We pulled into Little Harbor and grabbed a mooring ball. Immediately called to make a reservation...for this Wednesday night and Cynthia said she wasn't there until Friday. She asked how many we had (5), I told her how this dinner had been the highlight of our 2013 trip, and she volunteered to come in Thursday to make dinner for us. She said this was the first reservation in over a year! We were her only party for the night. We had Cynthia all to ourselves and the entire evening was fantastic - black bean soup, salad, and lobster were great and the conversation with Cynthia was special! We need to support these small local places if we want to be able to enjoy them in the future! Thanks Cynthia!More

We had made a reservation for dinner and when we arrived we were promptly met by "Cynthia" and shown to our set table for 6. We were offered drinks and menus immediately . Our hostess "Cynthia" was so friendly and entertaining. She had us all...laughing before the first drinks hit the table. Four of us had Lobster and the other two had steak. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our evening.More

If you want a truly unique dining experience, you must visit here. Cynthia will not only feed you, she will keep you laughing the whole time. You couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome. The food is homemade and amazing! Lime butter sauce on the lobster,...soup and salad starters, great drinks. And if you eat in the restaurant, your mooring ball is free. We have been there several times over the years, and it is always one of the highlights of our trip.More
