After some squash hunting, we decided to get out of the rain at this small english style pub overlooking the river. The pub was quite full and very noisy. I think when the back doors are opened in the summer it will be a lot quieter. The food and beer was really good. The nachos and onion rings are very... More

My wife and I were doing a late October round trip of the island, and popped in to warm up, and because it's a microbrewery, d'uh! If I didn't have to drive, I would have had several more of their delicious beers! Try the fresh beers on tap, especially the Anne Baillergeron. fresh and fantastic! Too bad I had to... More

We stopped in for lunch. It took almost an hour and a half until we were able to leave. Even the beautiful peak-color view from the terrace didn't balance that. We waited at least a half-hour for a waiter to come to our table. Once we had expressed our initial drink preferences, water for my wife and a sampler of... More

Across the board, the beer was easily the worst we had during our visit. Not much flavor when we wanted it, and too much when we didn't. Onion soup was good, but chips and chicken fingers were gross. Chicken was clearly frozen and mass produced. Total letdown.

The pub food is just so-so but the beers are VERY good. This appears to be locals hang-out but is also recommended to visitors by many locals. The locals are not keeping their beer a secret which is definitely to the advantage of tourists. They make a variety of beers next to the pub. One of the more popular items... More

We ate and drank here because it was the only place open on a Monday night in mid-September. Enjoyed the scotch ale and the fish and chips. Nice atmosphere and there were lots of locals dining and drinking.

The only pro for this place, is they have some good microbrewery beer, but that's all. We waited an hour for a small caesar salad and chicken tender appetizer, not to mention waiting over 15 minutes to be approached by a waitress. I overheard our waitress say there were a bunch of 18r olds working the kitchen who had no... More

Little gem of a Brew Pub on Orleans Island. GPS had trouble locating it. Had IPA very different then American IPA's. Definitely had Euro taste. I had sausage plate and wife burger. Very good food, along with service for location. There is another brewery on Island. Had trouble locating it. On second try and Google was located in a vegetable... More

The restaurant was crowded, but the server was excellent. He managed quite a few tables and didn't need to write anything down. The burger I ordered was just okay. Likely prepacked -- frozen and then cooked. I'd definitely go back though because it was a great atmosphere. I'd skip the burger and try something else.

I first went by this place a couple of years ago. This trip I finally got there. Went there twice actually. Once for beers and a snack, and once for dinner and a beer. We tried a "flight" of the beers with freshly made potato chips and some French fries. The beers are excellent. The Belgian style Grand Maison was... More
