This spot is locally famous for good reason. Although I was the outside lobster season the scallops were fantastic. The service was super friendly and efficient, the view could be stared at for hours. A very pleasant experience I highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem. Definitely worth a stop on your way to and from Twillingate. The seafood tastes fresh, and it’s very economical. Tip: Go grab your table during the off-meal times. Otherwise you could be in for a long wait for a...table. One time we left just as the dinner rush was beginning. The entire parking lot was full of cars. There were cars parked all the way into the residential area. The line outside was epic. There were tables available, but due to limited kitchen staff, patrons weren’t seated unless staff thought they can turn the table in a reasonable manner.More

Staff were extremely friendly. Good delicious and well price. We had kaiser lobster buns and they came with lots Of lobster meat. Unfortunately they were sold out of full lobsters when we went. The view was espectacular

If you are a seafood lover you should not miss this. We followed the signs on the road and we discovered this amazing place. The seafood chowder was out of this world. The lobster was the best. For a grand finally you have to try...the partridge berry tart. The only downsize is that you have to pay cash, but there is a fix. They have an ATM inside.More

We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner even though they don’t take reservations and you wait for a table with very few waiting seats. Our inexperienced waitress was slower than expected, didn’t bring out our drinks until our meal arrived and never asked if we wanted another....We will likely visit again despite those deficiencies.More

This is such a unique place to eat!! The food is delicious and the staff are amazing. Would highly recommend this quaint restaurant. You have the option of eating outside surrounded by salt water or inside where it’s a relaxed atmosphere!!

Exceptional atmosphere. A real “warm home like place”. The staff is beyond exceptional and we had some fun with them. Great sense of humour. Food perfect! Shout out to Valerie, Janis, Janet, sue, and the rest. We got such a kick out of how friendly...and welcoming they were. Salt of the earth. Fabulous view and a special sea gull named Tilly is part of the ambiance. Outside tables as well as inside. Just a memorable dinner. Thanks to all who were there today.More

My dad and I arrived there 2 hours before closing time. We were put on a waiting list and asked a couple from Quebec behind us if they wanted to share a table. We had a great evening; all the food was simply delicious, the...atmosphere was great and our waitress was a charming newfoundlander. This is a great place to eat after a day of activities and it gives off these perfect, relaxed, authentic seafood restaurant vibes!More

We went for dinner two evenings. This is a small, very casual restaurant (about ten tables inside; about the same outside). Service is fast and friendly. Note that it is cash only, but there is an ATM inside. The first night we shared the seafood...chowder and the seafood pasta. The pasta was delicious. We have a favorite restaurant with excellent chowder, so other chowders have a very high standard to reach. Doyle’s was good, but didn’t measure up. The second night we had the cod fish bites (delicious) and the scallop dinner (also very good). They don’t take reservations, so we went early both nights and I’m glad we did. Parking is a little haphazard and tight.More

The staff are absolutely wonderful. It was some of the best fish dinners I have had on this trip Newfoundland. We ate three meals there ( 1-lunch and 2 suppers) and I kept trying different things. Everything was wonderful. It was worth the trip to...Newfoundland to dine here.More

Spectacular seafood in a charmingly ramshackle building (complete with sun deck) on a lovely cove outside Twillingate. The chowder and fish and chips were fabulous. The snow crab, a local specialty, was the most expensive item on the menu — but well worth the reasonable...market price. Our server Janice was charming and helpful — gave us tips on how to conquer the crab! If you love seafood, you’ll love this place. Five stars!More

We had an excellent dinner here. We had the seafood chowder and the lobster dinner. Excellent service, food and staff. Chowder is full of seafood and not filled with potatoes like many restaurants, lobster dinner came with a side, drink and dessert. Very reasonable prices....Highly recommend.More
