Great cafe, always busy which speaks for itself. Not the cheapest but the quality is good and ambience makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Visited for mothers day and not disappointed at all. The food was lovely and the service was second to none. The roast beef was so tender and cooked to perfection, the yorkshire puddings amazing. The desert exceeded all expectations, my mum is diabetic and also having to go very low GI so I had spoken to Heather about my mums... More

Restaurant by night well almost just arrived unbooked and was politely seated then to a mix of staff what I would describe as some moderately trained and some obviously not trained at all .Choice of food was ok I had king scallops to start with which were more like queenies on steroids and poorly cooked the accompaniments were ok some... I am sorry we were not up to your expectations, but we have no wish to be Michelin star. We are a farm and want to serve Good Hearty Farmhouse Food. The scallops were definitely King Scallops bought from our amazing fish vendor that stands here every Friday and Saturday - it is just the time of year that makes... More

The new building is light and airy and nicely decorated. We ordered full breakfast , large coffee , 2 fresh orange juices and poached egg with smoked salmon. The cost was around £20. The price is similar to another farm cafe we visit but in comparison I believe the quality and service was just ok here and not outstanding. My... More

I do often think about the price of a cup of water, but we still have to pay the Barrista, Waiter and Pot wash plus VAT. You are also taking a seat that could be taken by a full paying visitor. I here what you are saying but if I had a café full of hot water drinkers I would... More

We had a very pleasant dining experience there on Sunday the 12th of March. The food was of excellent quality and the staf are both friendly and helpful. It gets my vote, I would certainly dine there again.

My husband had lunched here a few times from work and suggested calling on a Saturday lunchtime. Although it looked packed we found a table relatively easily. The biggest problem was deciding what to eat! Further visits will allow me to work my way through the menu.

Thought we'd give it a try for Sunday lunch, it was roast lamb that day on the special, didn't have to wait long for it to arrive, the Yorkshire pudding was nice as was the roast potatoes, carrots and cabbage was fine, but the broccoli was a little to crunchy for my liking. Could have done with a little more... More
