Delightful friendly staff who have obviously been hand picked for their charm, helpfulness and general chirpiness. The food was to die for and we would seriously make a huge detour to come back again. We live over 2 hours away! Back the following morning to...More

A family and friends birthday celebration over lunch. The food was fabulous and the service friendly and attentive, just the right balance. Collectively we would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant as being one of the very best around.

So - still our favourite restaurant in Horsham and the only place to go in East Street for that 'special' night out. Not sure how to compare with other Michelin restaurants because we've only ever been to one other in the UK - having never...More

This is a lovely bright restaurant chosen by my sons who are both chefs. All courses were beautifully presented and the fusion of flavours were perfect for me. The pigeon was cooked to perfection and my strawberry desert was my idea of food heaven. My...More

We have been dining at Tristan's since he first opened in Horsham. The restaurant has always struggled with its identity. It strives to be fine dining but compared to other Michelin recommended establishments it rarely matches in terms of service and quality (see other average...More

If I were you I’d take the carry COYS as space is quite limited in the restaurant bar area downstairs. Upstairs has more space but getting peaks upstairs would be very tricky. However it is well worth the visit.

No specific parking but plenty of public car parking close by. There are disabled parking places in town if needed.

Housed in a 16th Century building in the historic town of Horsham, Restaurant Tristan opened in 2008 and has been a firm favourite with local foodies ever since. Inside, original wooden beams contrast with contemporary style to create an intimate setting for lunch or dinner. Chef and Proprietor Tristan Mason worked in top restaurants like The Greenhouse and Mirabelle before becoming Head Chef at The Hare where he achieved his first Michelin Star. The menu at Restaurant Tristan is predominantly British with some creative French influences, with dishes like terrine of pheasant and turbot with truffle risotto taking centre stage. Ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible and the extensive wine list is designed to complete this truly unforgettable dining experience.
