We booked at very short notice and the team were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast dinner, generous portion sizes and all cooked really well. The Yorkshire puddings were outstanding! The pricing on the menu is a little bit confusing...as we had to ask for the individual roast dinner prices as opposed to the 2 courses - and majority of roast dinners has an additional surcharge. Apart from that all really great and would definitely recommend! Also very family friendly the kids meals were really tasty.More

Best pub in harrow by far, we visit here regularly and all the staff are very welcoming! Nicole for sure has fantastic nails! Richard is always very accommodating. Food is great, full of flavour and totally worth the money. Since we came to the area...we have always been made to feel very welcome and will always bring our visitors here. Cannot fault.More

Gastropub and local pub. Not been during covid but it has been a place that I’ve been to many times for drinks, meals inside and out. Have had some really excellent meals here. Sometimes it’s loud and busy due to sports showing on TVs. The...garden is good for dirtying out in the sun. Have had their hunters chicken a few times, their sea bass w ginger and lemongrass was very good and a venison and some fruity sauce (I forget - blackberry?) was fantastic. Decent wine list. Recommend.More

Lovely pub; a surprising find. Everything beautifully recently (?) refurbished and presented - inside and outside, the front patio. Excellent food, well presented. Staff very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Maybe a tad highly priced for a town pub - £40 for three courses,...a pint and a glass of wine, but a good menu and good portions. I would definitely visit again.More

We visited this pub on a Saturday evening for a family meal. Initially we called up in the afternoon and made a reservation, the lady who answered the phone was polite and friendly. As we arrived to the pub you'll first notice how clean and...new everything looks, on a nice summers day it would be very nice to sit outside. As we entered we waited at the sign post and waited, shortly we were welcomed by a polite and welcoming lady. She took our reservation details and explained to us the current guide lines with covid and what was expected whilst we were in the restaurant, very professional and explained in a friendly manner. We were shown to our table a nice large round table with ample space and a good distance from other tables, the waitress was very polite and was on point when I asked what draught was available. There was a very good selection and for her to know them all off the top of her head I was impressed. The menu was also impressive with a good selection of food, enough to not over power it and to demonstrate that every dish is made fresh and not from a freezer. The pie of the day was Turkey and cranberry and it was delicious, word of warning the pie is big and perfect size, you will leave feeling full. The onion rings are the best I've had, nice thin slices of onions with the right seasoning they were that good had to order another portion. The whole family enjoyed every bit of their food and all the dishes were clean. To sum up I would highly recommend this pub for its excellent food and more so the exceptional customer service from the staff. Will be going back again. 10 out of 10More

This is my favourite pub locally - it is really down to earth while being really good for a nice night out. It also has a good children’s menu. On a nice day the garden is fantastic. The food is brilliant - and I always...look forward to a meal here. It is not at all portentous! We went last night for a bank holiday Monday meal. The place was really busy but the staff were still fantastic as always! The food was lovely - well cooked and tasty and clearly prepared with care. I was served by Fran who despite being rushed of her feet was so cheerful and helpful! I can’t recommend this place enough!More

From the moment we stepped into the pub we felt warmly welcomed and attended to, even though it was a busy bank holiday Monday. Huge thanks to Frank - friendly and professional in seating us safely in a corner, getting us some drinks. The food...was amazing - honestly, the skinny onion rings are beautiful and so moreish. My only regret is not ordering 2 portions! The food was all delicious... a table we had sirloin steak, seabass and pak choi, a cajun chicken burger and a homemade bhaji burger. Whilst everyone was happy and enamoured by their lunch, I must say that the bhaiji burger was the highlight. Packed in with houmous, pepper relish and salad - it really is dreamy. Thank you so much, for your hard work keeping pubs fab and safe. We will be back!More

What a great Sunday lunch we had yesterday. Food was delicious, staff were all very friendly and attentive, even though they were rushed off their feet, and nothing was too much trouble. Feel very lucky that it’s our local!

Not 3 courses, but the mains varied between £10.00 and £16.00 when we ate at lunch time.
