My husband and I had a meal recently at this Brewers Fayre and found the food very good. The manager was a credit to the company as he was both helpful and knowledgeable about food allergies. A good find on our journey up north, thank you

While our kitchen was inaccessible due to building work, we decided to come here. The menu looks ok, the usual things like burgers, fish & chips etc. but very limiting if you are gluten free. My partner had the gammon and I had sausage, egg & chips. It was what it was and we were hungry. My partner had a... More

Stayed in the hotel so had food here. Had to eat at 4.30 or it would have been far later due to a massive party. Had starter and main together to save time. And had the feeling I was being monitored to my ta Le could be cleaned up ready for the party. The soup was quite nice but salad... More

4 months after last visit thought we would give it another try. In reality its not bad, but its not really 'restaurant' food! Just mainly frozen 'fast food' in a Pub......

Its cheap and cheerful. Menus good. Place is clean. Staff are faultless. You get what you pay for in a pleasant place. The food isnt michelin standard but you're not paying for that. Can just drop in and we've never had a problem getting a seat although it's never empty.

Initially we were chatting over coffee, the system is you pay for coffee and are then given cups, I was not told that refills are free and staff continued to take money, annoyed when I found out..!! Food was adequate, very snacky type food, it was a platter to share, average but edible and some bits were tasty..!!

I had a fish goujon sandwich and a bowl of chips. Don't get me wrong, it was ok. But that was mainly because it was so bland. The chips tasted of absolutely nothing; the sandwich was the same. It all turned up in good time, was a reasonable price, good for children, was ok. But maybe I just ordered the... More

We often take mum here when we visit as the service is always quick but not too quick and the staff very nice. This time it was mum's 90th birthday week and when we arrived at our table we had balloons and table confetti - a very nice touch, and the fact the two ladies at the next table were... More

The meals were excellent value for money, the staff were very helpful as my Granddaughter is on crutches at the moment and they were really helpful. There were 7 of us in the party and we all had something different, but they were all very nice
