We have been here before for family gatherings but this meal was special in that it was my Step father's 70th Birthday. There was 21 of us including 2 kids, 2 teens & an assorted range of adults ages. We had all chosen our meals beforehand to help the restaurant. I had the triple roast & my girlfriend had the... What spoilt it this time is the children in the bar area, running about, moving chairs and playing, we practically had to step over them to get served. I've never known this before in here... More

We both had beef and it was melt in the mouth superb with fresh vegetables and potatoes. The Pedigree on draft was on top form and it was great... More

We happened upon this remote pub during a bike ride and what a great decision it was to stop to rest and refuel here! The hot beef sandwich and smoked salmon omelette were both superb and the accompanying salad was nothing but a work of art! It was a good value lunch and really a pleasant surprise to enjoy such... Visited with 3 families fir Sunday Lunch, all the food came out together and was hot. The food was beautiful. There was the traditional Sunday roast options as well as a few other not so traditional. So something for everyone. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a visit and we will be back.
