I really wanted to like this place. A girlfriend and I decided to meet here for our annual July birthday lunch as somewhere quaint and different than the usual chain restaurant. She ordered one of the mussel dishes and it was good (I got a...More

Tiny but tasty for brunch and casual - casual eating. Then later in the evening it seems to switch to an outdoor drinking and smoking pub with some food.

Who'd have thought that all these would go so well. I got a seasonal cider (ginger peach) and husband got a random beer. Huge selection of Belgium ales! We started with a meat and cheese tray that was delicious! 3 of each, selected for you....More

Vendor at Occoquan Days and went here for a break on Sunday. Beer was okay but the Charcuterie plate sucked! 4 of 3 slices of fatty meats a piece of dry bread with black wilted "greens" and some pickled mushy onions. Couldn't eat, gagged on...More

Very pleasant outdoor setting. Quaint and peaceful. Relaxed vibe. Food was ordinary. Pretzel appetizer was good. Flanders salad with chicken was not great. Only two dressing choices, neither of which were appetizing. Ingredients were bland and uninteresting. Other customers seemed to enjoy the mussel pots.

Great place to spend the afternoon on the outdoor patio on a nice sunny day. Good selection of Belgian beer, but go for the mussels.

We actually never ate there for dinner. We saw it on TripAdvisor with good reviews and it offered my husband's favorite steak and frites. TripAdvisor, yelp and google all post a steak and frites for $18 on the main dishes. My husband went to the...More

You don't have to brave the airlines to visit an authentic little European neighborhood bistro. Come down to the quaint riverfront town of Occoquan for a little boutique shopping and finish up with a visit to our cozy bistro for a fine Belgian beer and a delicious meal. We are serving up always-fresh, always-homemade European bistro specialties, a selection of 60+ Belgian and Belgian-style beers we know you'll love, and a whole lotta coziness and welcome. Are they the freshest Prince Edward Island Blue Mussels and the crispy-creamiest fresh-cut Belgian Frites? You bet! Is there a beautiful street-side brick outdoor patio? Yep, we've got that, too. No fancy frills, just great beer, wine, and good, freshly prepared food. Oh! And we forgot to mention the delicious Non-GMO waffles. But you won't...see you soon! !
