We were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome although we had booked on a deal. It was early so not very full and felt that it needed a bit of music to hide our voices while talking. We were served with delicious food by excellent friendly staff. We would definitely recommend and will be returning as... More

Great Sunday lunch with a large family. Everybody really enjoyed their food and the desserts were great, especially the apple crumble & custard!

Newly refurbished and just as good as it was 30 years ago! A delightful pub with good food selection in the centre of a fine old village

We took our son out for an evening meal on Saturday and the food was really good. We have decided to stay here for our son's graduation from UCLAN in July and have booked two nights.

First time we had been here and really enjoyed our food. Chose the 2 courses on a Sunday and it was really good value. Food tasted and looked great, staff were very friendly and it was a very cosy dining room. Definitely visit again.

Had a couple of meals here early March as we were staying in the lovely village of Ribchester. The food was lovely and such a warm welcome from the staff and locals made us feel at home.

A very decent lunch here over the Easter weekend. It was busy and we hadn't booked but still had very prompt service and very tasty food. £12.95 for 2 courses which is less than I've paid for microwave meals in many pubs... difference being this is proper home cooked grub! This is a nice place with good food and service.

Disappointing visit today. Busy, but no atmosphere. Over toasted sandwiches and heavily salted chips. No cutlery(had to find our own) and no serviettes to be seen. Staff not very friendly and seemed uninterested and distracted.

My wife and i looked forward to a day out on Good Friday in the beautiful Ribble Valley. I had noticed on previous visits to the village of Ribchester, that the White Bull had closed and reopened several times in the last few years. Apparently, the difficulties have now been overcome and the recently renovated restaurant reopened in January 2016.... More
