Spontaneous lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Good service even though it was busy. The lunch menu was excellent value for money.

We had a very enjoyable meal , all three courses were of a high standard with the main course being both tasty and plentiful.

Went to the Barns for a meal and had a great night with excellent food. They have introduced a new menu that had an excellent choice offering great value. The waiting staff were excellent and I will return again in the near future.

Visiting for a Sunday evening meal as two couples we pre booked a table. Been to the Barns several times before and the quality of the food was excellent as always. Unfortunately, the service seemed a little haphazard with long drawn out gaps. I think we had all the waiters on duty at our table during the course of our... More

Food was ok, but could have been much better, have definitely had better on previous visits. Not cheap by any means but worth a visit. Hoping for better next time. It has a traditional feel... More

By the way we also had two mains which were average. Yesterday's fried up boiled potatoes as "sautéed". Shame as used to be good. Waited... More

After hearing from friends that the head chef had been replaced last year I was hoping that it would be as good as it was, well I must say it was better!! The menu had changed from the last time I came and it was fabulous, so much choice! I had the chicken balls to start and the satay kebabs... More

We went for Sunday lunch and I had the set menu. The duck and cointreau pate was the best I've tasted in many years. The beef dinner was all right. There was a very large amount of meat and vegetables but the potatoes were not particularly good. The real disappointment was, however, the brulee which was really a cheesecake and... More
