I ve visited this restaurant twice during our stay în Samnaun. The food îs delicios, i recommend the biftec tartar and the schnitzel, plus the service is rather fast and the cosy huge Chalet that hosts this restaurant îs a match to anybody s taste.
Most stop as skiing in, it’s the 1st place you encounter entering the village.
A large multi level restaurant, it was heaving, trying to get a seat / served was a nightmare
Being so busy, we opted to only have a drink, afterward we saw...More
The venue is located at the end of Samnaun at the end of the down-hill ski track. The restaurant is distributed over several levels and is very nicely decorated. The food, we had Pizza, is good. The service very kind.

Drinks were ordered and served pretty quickly.
Overall service was very friendly.

This pizzeria can be reached with the slope 80 from Ischgl Samnaun ski station. Please arrive early because it is quickly busy. The decor was nice. We had lunch under the eagle statue balcony. Pizzas were great (cappriciosa and maffioso), mineral water amazing but home...More
Schmuggleralm is probably most visited restaurant in Samnaun dorf. It is situated at "the end" of village at the point where you end skiiing and come down from the mountains. The ambient is great, the inner part of restaurant mostly made of wood&combined with stone.
They do serve tipical dishes which you can find in the mountains. And they do it very good. Service is super friendly and the food comes fast. Also nice for lunch. The ride down to Samnaun is anyway better ad noon. Also funny Aprés-Ski if...More
Just another low class, basic "mountain" style restaurant with unfriendly service and overpriced menu. We skipped the meals, as it didn't look appealing. Ordered some water (9chf !!!!!) and a house wine, which was undrinkable. Never again.More

Dear Mr/Mrs Winylake
We have noted your assessment with regret and misunderstanding.
You denote our Schmuggler Alm as a restaurant of the lowest category with unfriendly service and excessive menu prices. We have a lot of effort in the construction and also in the setting...More
