The Thai cuisine is internationally known as low in fat, rich in vitamins and very healthy. Whether chili-spicy or mild, the harmony in the composition is the leitmotif of each of our freshly prepared dishes. Our brillant Thai cook, whom we have taken over from the former manager, places special value on the quality of the food and uses exclusively fresh ingredients: no flavour enhancers such as glutamate are considered. Thai and local vegetables as well as chosen Thai spices make a pure and delicious tasting. You will taste the difference! This place is fantastic. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. Yes, its not cheap BUT the quality is excellent. The owner is very, very friendly and even during rush hour lunchtime super nice and welcoming everyone - and the delivery is quick too. Can highly recommend! If Asian, for sure and no doubt go to this place and no other place in Lachen or nearby. This one rocks it all together!

Attractive place with decent food

Thai Kitchen is a rather attractive place. Very nicely decorated it very much feels like holiday thousands of miles away in a different culture. People and service is exceptionally friendly. Very much to recommend is the party room in the basement. However, food is not what is commonly known as street food in Thailand. It is more like a gourmet style of Thaifood with a good taste of authenticity. An additional grade of spicyness is always available on request. Everybody will certainly like it. Wine lovers, although Thaifood goes more with beer, is also available. They have some tasty whites which fit quite well. Price wise is it a bit higher than other places outside of cities. Over all, a perfect match for a good evening out.

My wife and I have been looking for a good Thai restaurant for some time. We heard about the Thai Kitchen and gave it a try. We've eaten here multiple times, and the food has been excellent and the service friendly. We're so glad we've finally found a nice restaurant that offers good Thai food!

We used to eat here when the restaurant name was "Typisch Thai", run by different people. We used to like Typisch Thai, now we are completely disappointed by the mediocre quality and lack of authenticity of the food served at Thai Kitchen. The food is completely adapted to the Swiss taste and it is the same you can find in many other average Thai or Asian Fusion restaurants in Switzerland. They don't use the proper Thai ingredients: for example, the Pa-Näng-Curry is without Limonenblättern and the Basilikum they use is tasteless; the PAD KRAPAOW is made with western grüne Bohnen instead of South Asia Schlangenbohne, they replace Bamboo with Lotus, and here also you barely taste the Basilikum which should be the basis of this dish. I complained about this with the manager Mr Urech and he said the Swiss people does not like authentic Thai and if I wanted Authentic cuisine I had to ask for this specifically!!

Lachen Tasty and smily 905902872 Always good tasty and real Thai food served in a nice atmosphere and courtesy the servers not thai always super smiling and genteel they care each customer in the dining. In the preparation of dishes chefs from thailand prepare the delicious and super original thai taste food . And can find the best beer from Thailand and much more. Thanks.guys for the experience

The food is just cooked the perfect way, it was all delicious!!! We had a couple dinner celebrating my husband birthday, and I must say that the last time eat Thai that was so good was in Australia :P

Dear Client, Is a pity to hear about your remarks and we are sorry. For any restaurant is always difficult to change taste/adjust a meal through internet. Make this kind of remarks after your visit is unfortunately useless for both side. Hospitality is a tough business but this is part of the game. I'm pleased that everyone is different and I know that we can't make happy the wide palate of everybody. But I can insure that our Thai Chef cook with heart and passion. Excellent place to have your meal! The food is made from high quality ingredients (you can feel it). The stuff is unbelievably friendly: the feeling is that you have invited to spend an evening at your friend's home. The site belongs to mixed young couple: Swiss (service) & Thai (cooking): both cooking & service were exceptional.

Thai-riffic!!!

We had a Thai restaurant at our resort which was booked every night so we took to TripAdvisor and found this splendid surprise!!! Wonderful food, amazing service (possibly the friendliest in Switzerland?!). We were greeted and seated by the owner who is both gracious and enthusiastic. After a lovely dinner and desert we had an unexpected wait as 2 Uber’s cancelled and the owner made us comfortable and gave us drinks while we waited for our driver. First class food. First class people!

I listened to the previous positive reviews and decided to come try this restaurant. The level of service is top notch! Well priced menu. The owners are very happy and polite. Food was homemade Thai food and delicious. :) The best meal I’ve had in Switzerland!
