I have been going to Blanes since my first visit in 1966 as a child and Mum & Dad always had Calamares a la Romana with a beer while my brother and I enjoyed them with a Pepsi. I have taken everyone I know to it when we visit and always have the Calamares, Tigritos & Patatas Bravas. Wonderful old... More

Charming, traditional and totally unpretentious this is a great place to lunch/snack and watch the world go by. We loved the ambience and the tapas was tasty, varied and reasonably priced - obviously because we spent 3 or 4 lunchtimes here.

Stopped here looking for some tapas after a hot day in Blanes. It wasn't a bad choice, but I wouldn't rush to go back. Busy, noisy and with some architectural back drop the location is a great start. Trouble is though, waiters are rushed off their feet and so getting their attention is a challenge. Ours did that annoying "I'm... More

We came across this little tapas bar after a walk along the beach. The road (Passeig de din tre ) is a parallel, lined with trees and lovely architecture old houses. There is a colourful fruit and veg market and this tapas bar is at the end of it. Sitting outside in the shade people order anything from a caffe con... More

The best tapas in Blanes. In downtown, close to the beach. Nice behavior, waiters are attentive and a very big terrace to enjoy in summer time. I use to go there as often as I can.

I was there in 2012 and now had the chance to come back. Nothing fancy to be honest, in fact a quite busy place but at least for my understanding an original tapas bar. You can eat there for hours watch the people around you and enjoy life. Almost perfect :-)

What can I say, I've been going there since I was 5 years old and now I'm almost 33.. Very well known place to have "the vermut" over there or what English equivalent would be Appetizers. The best Calamars a la romana and Malaguenyes! Also try little fried fish called Sonsos, and don't forget Bravas! I'm already drooling by the... More

We like the tapas and the range available. The atmosphere is very good although if you don't like smoke you could always go inside. We don't like the wobbly tables!

Very reasonable prices for tapas, bocadillos and drinks. Came several times whilst in blanes. Airy inside and typical outdoor area set within the tree lined avenida.

This is a great place - no frills, full of locals and good, value for money. The staff are extremely busy but always manage to see when you need their attention. Waiters remember very long orders without writing it down and always seem to get it right. There's a great buzz about the place and, if you there for a... More
