We had lunch with a big group after a wedding. The food was ok but the service was really poor. My friends reserved the place for a group of 30-40 people. The restaurant made them an offer and they had to pay a deposit. When it was time to pay they decided to change that offer so my friends had... More

The waiter was helpful in that he suggested two dishes would be enough for three of us and the starter duly arrived. Very good it was too.... More

We were a big group, and I assume we all have been disapointed with this place...the paella was cold and nothing to do with a real spanish paella...the croquetas, calamares were frozen (Thanks supermarket Mercadona?) and the services could be much better. To finish, we had a price established before and we had to pay much more at the end... More

Ate here twice as a little bored of all inclusive food. Lasagne first time nice, tasty food id a little cheesy, second time grabbed a pizza WOW nicest ive eaten in a long time - thin crispy base, plenty of topping and not dripping in oil> But the best thing is the owner/waiter so friendly even saw us in resort... We've decided to come back because the first day it was quite ok. The second time was not really good the paella was driy and not very fresh. My fish was at no doubt fresh but the half portion of the previous time. This irregularity can not happen in a restaurant. The boss waiter was very nice but, I guess... More

Whilst in Spain recently we found La Gabia just by the sea front in Calella, they serve a wide variety of food and drinks at very reasonable prices - you know its good when the locals go there. If what you are looking for is not on the menu the staff will try to make up what you want and... More

We had a drink at the La Gabia bar on the Beach at Calella a couple of times, the owner was very helpful and the place seemed to attact a lot of locals even though it was February.
