Amazing place just infront of the train station that blew us away. We where so hungry we went for the first thing in site, but the chef here really knows his food. Amazing set menu with perfect complimenting dishes. For sure we will be back....Thank you!More

I can't wait to get back! By surprise I just happened to end up at an epic 8 course birthday lunch in this amazing place in Calella which I will never forget! I already had another trip to Barcelona planned for the end of this...month and there's no way I'll consider the beautiful 1 hour train ride along the Mediterranean Sea a waste just to get there again! Everything was extremely well prepared and I especially remember the hot smoked salmon, coronation chicken, duck and the foie gras ice cream(!) in this interior outdoor patio where the sun was shining just perfectly. The fact that the beach (where we all ended up) is only 30 seconds away just makes it better! Thank you Oli & George for making it happen and see you soon again!More

An amazing menu with weird and wonderfull combinations and flavours. Top quality original food you can’t find anywhere else. Coctails are equally topnotch and very smart. It’s clear that the owner/chef and the barkeeper have a deep knowledge of different cuisines, mixology and the best...(local) produce, plus they have some great stories to tell. If you look for an unexpected delight look no further. It’s a bit away from barcelona but well worth the trip. Cute town too!!More

This was my fourth visit. There were some truly delicious additions to the menu, The two of us shared the Negroni cured salmon, Japanese seaweed salad with cured Tuna and Pomegranate dressing, Home smoked Trout and horseradish cream, and the most amazing Duck breast with...Fennel and Tangerine salad. Couldn't resist a try of the Frog croquettes just for good measure. Truly marvelous. We also sampled one or two modern and imaginative cocktails that paired with the food beautifully. A real feast for the senses. I can't wait for my fifth visit .More

We had heard good reports about this place (and the fabulous coastal train journey north out of Barcelona) and weren't disappointed. This is not your average seaside bar. In fact there is nothing average about it. We were greeted from behind the bar by a...lovely chap called George who speaks fluent English, Catalan and Spanish, and who has an extensive knowledge of cocktails. Both bar and dining area have a relaxed yet stylish feel with some fabulous food-related photographs decorating the walls. The drinks list is very good with an excellent choice of wines, vermouth and beers - they even sell an Estella that is drinkable - and very well priced, too. The English chef/patron, Oli served up some inventive and very impressive dishes, including a dreamy haggis-black pudding combo. We'll be back.More

A fantastic gem of a restaurant. Slightly off the beaten track near the station. A gastronomic delight. Try the eight course tasting menu. Simply sublime. All the other diners were Spanish, so that says something.

Was not expecting to find this oasis of food and drink in a coastal town on the Costa del Maresme. First class, super-friendly service, delivering organic beers and wines (Punk IPA fans will love it, but you must try the local beers too: stunning!) and...exceptional food, prepared by a true artist. I felt so at home, my lunch went on until well after dinner. Excellent value for top end cuisine, too. Can't recommend this place enough. When I'm next in Catalonia, I'll be making a special trip to it. No question.More

Didn't expect to find a place that served such delicious yet also unusual and very modern food here. It's almost right next to Calella station, but this is not your typical station café. There are some fantastic beers and it's a nice bar to hang...out at. The shortish-menu is varied and unusual, the atmosphere was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. It may not be the cheapest restaurant in Calella, but it is the best value!More

A bar that serves food worthy of a Michelin Star for less than the price of a Michelin tyre. The drinks & extraordinary cocktails are Salvador Dali & Gala The ambiance is Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall The service is Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers...The music is Miles Davis. The cuisine is Picasso.More
