About
The restaurant Compartir opened in April 2012 led by Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch. As its name indicates, the cuisine is presented on central dishes for sharing. This transforms the concept of “appetisers” and takes it one step further, as well as creating a surprising and uninhibited ambience among the diners. The menu offers markedly modern dishes and also more traditional suggestions, such as rice dishes. The restaurant is in the historical centre of Cadaqués in an emblematic building that was refurbished at the beginning of the 18th century. One of its main attractive features is the large courtyard where visitors are welcomed and which is a clear example of the identity

We opted for some items from the carte rather than the 10 course tasting menu. Some scrumptious oysters to start, then a selection of appetizers. The avocado and foei , the vegetable salad with langoustine and poached egg with mushrooms were all delicious starters. We...More

Honestly I was expecting more especially if you associate the name of Compartir to Disfrutar. Price are high considering that in terms of service a waiter never served the wine. Once the bottle of water was empty nobody asked us if we need a new...More

We went there on a Sunday night. We were offered to choose the table we wanted, which was a nice detail, and they had properly noted the allergy we had communicated during the reservation. We decided to go for the tasting menu with 10 courses...More

"Compartir" means to share, and shared we did. This is VERY classy "almost tapas" food with an El Bulli touch. We ordered 3 "starters" and 2 "mains" between the two of us and the dishes all came out about the size of raciones. The food...More

read about this restaurant on a blog and made it a must visit for our trip to Cadaqués. we were absolutely not disappointed. Spanish meals can be big and heavy and we did have a heavy lunch at 1pm thinking 8pm was a long time...More
