I was there with an friend for dinner. We had dorada and an besugo al horno. It was tasty and good price. The wine of the house is good. Rashid and his wife Maria are the new owner of the restaurant. They did an nice job. Its an cosy place mediterránea style.

The place is based on a quite corner (no view doe). We had the daily menu. The grilled vegetables as starters were very good. The paella as main was pretty OK. The creme of the crema catalan could have been good if it weren't burned. All in all, not outstanding but worth the money.

This place is nice and quiet. We were the first customers of the evening at around 20:00 and since the waitress was not in yet we were served by the chef itself. The food is nice and prices are reasonable.

We had lunch last week, after visiting a few restaurants in town, and we couldn't choose better place for our last meal in town. Great fresh fish, perfectly cooked, variery meat/fish, entrees were rich and tasty, price was reasonable and the location in a small street next to the maritim avenue made it cousy and relaxed. My congrats to the... More

Wonderful little restaurant - so happy to have found it. Found it purely by chance while exploring. When we're at the coast, we always like to try the fresh fish so we each had a fish dish here. The waitress was happy to go into detail about what was fresh that day. We took her recommendations and were delighted with... More

Enjoyed a good lunch at Can Pelayo. Set meal for €17,50, I think, including a paella, which was excellent value and very tasty. Service was efficient but not overly friendly.

It was admittedly a bit expensive for a young couple, about 20euros per person, but we went all out with drinks and desert. The food was delicious. It was also very quiet, its setting is along a small street near the hospital, and because its not next to the beach, fewer people go there. We had the place to ourselves... More

We were searching for a particular restaurant based on some pre-trip research, and thought this one was from a story we read in a NY TImes story on the Costa Brava. Tried one night...closed. Last night in Cadaques thought we'd try again and they were open even though it was the beginning of low season. Had fresh whole fish, but... More

This is a family run restaurant back off the front . It has no view but makes up for it with good home cooking . The food is always good and fresh and great value for money . We normally eat outside on the decking
