Really lovely food. My son is a very picky eater - he had the cheeseburger here and they were happy to remove all of the healthy stuff from it for him. The slow cooked pork belly was amazing - hardly any fat on it at all (I don’t like fat so wouldn’t normally order but my hubby had it on the first visit.) His steak on our second visit was very well cooked and the fish tacos my daughter had, together with the patatas volcanus went down really well. Staff are lovely, highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to eat.
Chef personally showed us fresh Dorada and mussels he could prepare for our meal and it totally lived up to expectations
Fresh and beautifully prepared food paired with best wine selection on the island.
View over harbour was a lovely setting. Chef and waiter made sure everything was perfect.
Will definitely be returning soon

We went as a family to this bistro two times in a week, the first time in the beginning of the week and then our last day because we wanted to end the vacation with amazing food.
It’s posible to get a table just by dropping by but to be sure to get a table is to call first.
Our waiter Marin and his colleagues were the best!
So service minded and nice. Our two small kids were warmly welcomed even though it’s not a “family place”.
There is also a troubadour so it’s very nice with the live music. The kids loved it!
The food is amazing! everything we tried was nicely plated and sooo tasty!
I would warmly recommend All about taste bistro to anyone who like great food and lovely, service minded personal!
(We were in fact in Puerto Rico to visit another restaurant who was awful but called all about taste bistro, got a table and quickly jumped into a cab)
Thank to Martin once again who saved our last day by getting us a table!

My starter of the Tuna Tartare and my wfe's fish ceviche were both excellent. However the meal then started to go downhill from there. We had to ask the waiter repeatedly where our main courses were and after waiting over 70 minutes our 'Crispy' Pork bellies arrived. At the side of the dish were scatterd some pork rind off-cuts, which we were advised were the 'crispy' crackling pieces. Only they weren't. They were soggy and very chewy. We told the waiter who then manually scooped them off my plate and disappeared into the kitchen with no further debate! We decided at that point to no longer stay and asked for the bill. This was presented along with a card payment machine which told us to select either a 5%, 10% or 15% tip! We do not like confrontation so elected to pay the 5% tip, but there should have been an option for no tip. We paid over 89euros for a two course meal for two, which wasn't amazing and our very own local gastro pub in UK would've been better value. We will not be returning to Taste.

We were expecting big things from taste bistro but some points disappointed us, staff were lovely though and terrace is romantic looking over the beach. I was very attracted by the bouillabaisse and it was good just not a lot of it for twenty euros,the soup and salmon were good but it came with only five mussels one of which was closed so uneatable,guys if you are putting that little make sure they are all open at least please, it was served with two large pieces of grilled toast, I would have preferred only one but more fish to be honest. My husband's burger was ok nothing amazing, but the wine was good, so a bit of a mixed bag

Booked online, arrived to a waiter who looked down his nose when we wanted proper menus rather than scanning a QR code. Got drinks. Lovely gin, though my vino de la casa was very meh. Portions coming out looked fairly small for quite high prices, and this was in the bistro not the tasting section. Paid for our drinks and left. Went 2 doors down to ocean blu, and had a lovely meal, plus nice vino de la casa. This bistro is fine dining prices without the fine dining.

I don’t really know how to respond..you have rated a restaurant based on that we use QR codes (welcome to the 21st century) And on our cheapest wine and food you have not even tried?! probably the dishes you saw was starters? Our dishes are everything but small (Rib-eue 300gr, burgers 160gr, whole grilled fish 500-600gr etc) and we use Fresh produce of high quality but that you don’t know since you did not even bother to order any food?! We have almost 20 wines by the glass so if you wanted any specific wine, why did you order the house wine? But yes, if you only want a lot of food for the cheaper price, we are not the right choice since we care about quality. Good that you find a restaurant of your choice and we will still be proud to serve our high quality food to people that appreciate quality..

When we got to the bistro, they tried to tell us that there were so many reservations in the book that we should be grateful to even get a table - even though there were and remained several tables free. The bread with aioli that we ordered never arrived, and instead of the red wine that we ordered, they served white wine. When the drinks were served, two bottles of yellow lemonade were accidentally spilled on my white trousers. Instead of apologizing in the form of a free drink or something similar, they tried to clean me to no avail. The mojo sauce I requested for the main course was not available, which is a disgrace for a typical Canarian restaurant. The food was OK, but far too expensive for the Canaries. In short: we cannot recommend a visit to the Taste bistro.

Disappointing and need to try harder. We were not informed that we needed to go online for the menu, then we were informed about the long waiting time to be expected. If we had been given bread and butter it would have helped during the wait. Home made nachos were very gnarly and not enough for the amount of guacamole. The bouillabaisse was fish soup with large piece of salmon, cod and mussels, one of which was closed. Why do chefs serve closed mussels? Very loud music. It was ok but wouldn’t go back

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your visit. The QR codes are on all tables and since the pandemic also the most common way to order in most restaurants anround the island. That we inform about waiting time is to give you the option to stay or leave! I don’t know many places around here that actually let you know that before you order and I cannot see how that can be negative and If you don’t accept the waiting time as was informed before you ordered, you had the choice to go somewhere els. A classic bouillabaisse is exactly what you describe. A broth with flavours and different fish and mussels..I am sorry if you got one mussel that did not open and that should have been exchanged directly if you would have let us know. I don’t know where you find a bouillabaisse around here that you compare to?! Yes we do have music and that is a part of our concept. If you think it is to loud, ask for a table a bit away from the speaker. The music was probably on when you arrived and if you think it is to loud, you maybe should have choosen another restaurant. I found it a bit strange that you think that all restaurants should do the same thing and adjust to what you like instead of you choose the restaurant that fits you. When you order Guacamole that is homemade and with some homemade deepfried tortilla bread and not nachos with Guacamole so I am sorry if we served to much Guacamole (that is the name of the dish) and we woukd have been happy to give you more tortillas if you just asked. I hope you find a restaurant that fits you better and that you maybe do some research about the restaurant and concept before you make your choice of restaurant. We cook all our food from scratch with fresh ingredients from order and that takes a bit longer time.

We stumbled across this beautiful restaurant, while looking for places to eat. The view from the restaurant is wonderful.
My husband got talking to Martin who was superb. He informed us about the 2 restaurants one is what I would describe as quite Al cart, where you pick several taster dishes hence the name ( and the food looked amazing and we will return to try the food there). The other restaurant which we chose to eat from did the most amazing burgers I have ever eaten.
The customer service from Martin and a lovely colleague of his ( unfortunately we didn't get his name) was amazing. They were friendly and welcoming and could not have done more to make our visit a lovely experience. I would highly recommend Taste and Taste Bistro.

This was the best find! We stumbled across this lovely place on our second night stay in Arguineguin. A beautiful setting, and perfect spot overlooking the sea and amazing sunset. The staff were so lovely, welcoming and chatty. They serve the best guacamole and patatas volcanos… my son had the fish tacos and he still talks about them daily! The pulled pork burgers and corn on the cobs were to die for! We loved it so much, we went back on our last night! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💕

Just dropped in a bit randomly as we were getting hungry and it was actually a bit early for dinner. Chose a fish dish without knowing anything about what I was actually served. But was very surprised when the food was served. In advance, we asked if they had a recommendation for wine? They brought 2 different Italian wines, of which I chose one without really knowing much about it. The fish came baked in foil with fish fillet, sauce and vegetables together. It tasted excellent, and this was an experience that I will remember. The wine tasted lovely and it all made for a great lunch. So I will visit this place several times, and can recommend everyone to make the trip here.!

Nice meal. We were told that you had to pay 10% more during Christmas because personnel costs are higher. (Okay strange but neatly indicated in advance) The long cooked pork was dry. Deserts were very expensive! There was no vanilla ice cream (??) Pineapple dessert ordered. 10 euros for 1 scoop of strawberry ice cream and 8 pieces of pineapple (without the Christmas increase). When paying by card, you are automatically asked what percentage tip you "should" give.

We ate foils gras starter, actually so large it was enough for two. The burgers was amazing, my wife ate the chezy cheese burger and the caramelized bacon was perfect. I ate the truffle burger and it delivered a combination of flavors I didn’t want to end. Near perfection yet again. Thanks to Martin for hosting us

My wife and I and four friends caught the ferry from Puerto de Mogan with the aim of having lunch at Arguineguin.
After a walk around the town, we stumbled upon the restaurant Taste Bistro, and what a terrific find it was.
We were attended to at our table by a really lovely waitress and also the owner as well.
The food and service was fantastic!
I had the slow cooked pork belly and it was an utter delight. My wife had a fish dish and that was very tasty too, I know this as we swapped a nibble each.
Everyone else loved their food, so much so that three of us had dessert, I had a delicious Crem Brulee.
We left the restaurant fully satisfied with our meals.
I have a bit of a quandary now, our friends fly home on Thursday, but we stay on until next Monday, I would really like to go back and try the fillet steak.
The food and service was that good that I might just be on the ferry again this coming Friday!
