Really good staff, fresh seafood. Squid rings slightly over done but still tasty, dover sole slightly oily but still very good (otherwise wouldve given 5 stars). Beautiful location. Clearly states that food must be ordered at the entrance as it is a restuarant and not...a bar (noted from other reviews). Accomodated quickly as we did not have a booking but is busy over lunch time so do expect a 20 minute wait without a booking. Was worth the hike from Deia and back again.More
On 17 May 2023, myself and four friends had rented a car and made our way to Cala de Deià. After being seated and had ordered our drinks with one of us about to order a seafood dish. We were very rudely told by a...waiter that everyone at the table must order or we must leave. Of course not all of us were hungry and the restaurant prices were ridiculously expensive. While waiting for our drinks a woman came over to our table, took the menus and told us "you must leave!.” She claimed there was a sign at the entrance stating their terms, which apparently mentions all must order a meal or they are not welcome. Not one of us caught sight of this mysterious sign yet the menus are clearly visible at the entrance. Furthermore, not one person working at the restaurant had explained this particular T&C prior to seating us. Back to being told to leave. While attempting to reason with this very rude woman, one of us explained that it was her birthday and she was intending on ordering a seafood dish. She also explained that she had really hoped enjoy her birthday at this location. The woman responded with "enjoy your birthday on the beach". At this point our attempts of reasoning with the staff had failed and we were simply kicked out of the premises. I hope this review helps others avoid the disappointment and terrible service we experienced. Unfortunately, it was also a waste of valuable time as we had only rented a car for one day. Driving to this spot took a good three hours from our morning.More
This is a beautiful scenic restaurant. Great selection of seafood (only a few non seafood dishes) but be wary of the high prices. In terms of getting to the restaurant, this journey is not for the faint hearted. There is a car park next to...the beach however this gets very full and it is still a 10 min downhill walk to the beach. If you want to walk from Deia give yourself 40 mins. My friend and I struggled in the heat on this walk and we are two, young, relatively fit people! Wear comfortable footwear too as the rocky paths can be slippery and uneven. Definitely worth it though for a unique seafront dining experience.More
We arrived at the restaurant around 3:00 pm and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table per waiting list. Finally we were called and placed at an extremely shaky table. We ordered coffee and cake for 2 people. The waiter took the order...and came back after 2 minutes to escort us out of the restaurant because the table was only for people who were here for "lunch".More
Fantastic lunch at the most sought after restaurant. Super pretty and tranquil, we felt it was worthy of the hype. Was worried from some reviews the staff might be rude or dismissive but far from it. Lovely waiter, food was worthy of price too and...great wine selection. The white from Ribas Mallorca vineyard I’d highly recommend! John Dory to share and cheese cake for dessert. We wasn’t hurried off the table either, 3hrs (1-3pm) was perfect. We stayed at Ed Moli hotel and got a taxi there - glad we did as car parking looked sparse and the roads are so narrow. We walked back up to our hotel, took 25mins, enjoyable really after all the food we consumed! I’d say from other reviews 100% get there very early if you are driving to secure a spot and time to then walk down. You can always chill on the beach if you take a towel. We will be back next time for sure!More
All the food was fresh and tasty. Service was good and the view was fabulous. Booking at this restaurant is essential. Your own transport is also a good idea as you could wait hours for a taxi.
Cash only and tricky to make bookings (they don’t often answer the ‘phone), but make the effort to eat here once if you’re in Deia and able to navigate the steep path or winding road down to the rocky, Insta-perfect little bay. Two of us...arrived by bikes which we had to carry the last few metres, over the driftwood- banistered bridge, then up to the terrace where our wives, sensibly on foot, had arrived a few minutes before. Simple, but perfectly fresh and cooked just right. Fried squid - rings and baby chipirones-, beer, Mallorcan white, a caught this morning snapper to share. Beautiful young and youngish people, friendly service and a price tag that says undiscovered fishing cove a stone’s throw from a world heritage site and one of the planet’s most stylish (and expensive) hotels. But worth every penny. And we managed, just, to cycle back up the hill.More
Great food. Beautiful location. Fabulous service! Exceptional experience highly recommmene this restaurant for lunch after swimming in the beautiful cove
Even for Mallorca standards it is certainly overpriced. But somehow one doesn’t mind (and many others also not) as the location is just breathtaking. Add to that the ‘authentic’ feeling and you have a definite winner! So yes, we will definitely come back - perhaps...even by boat anchoring in the stunningly beautiful bay!More
Very delicious seafood spot near Soller. Reservation is highly recommended as this place is full throughout the day. Parking is a hassle. There are very limited spots to share between restaurant patrons, beach goers, and hikers. Definitely leave plenty early bc you’re likely to circle...the parking area for a while. Taking a cab might be easier. Food wise, definitely go with the fresh fish filets or whole fish options!More
Incredible views, best food & wonderful service!! Everything was delicious, such a great restaurant as always at the beautiful Cala Deia. A must visit when in the area, there is nothing better!!
Extremely rude waitress and that kills the view, the vibe and everything else. Avoid this place, definitely not worth it.
We had a lovely evening at Ca‘s Patro March and greatly enjoyed it‘s authentic charme, the kind service and the amazing food. All in all: Mallorca at it‘s best. Muchos gracias!
For us, the only reason to come to this beach was this reastaurant and it was worth it. The view is stunning and the food is quite good as well. We didn't reserve on time but they were able to seat us before someone came....We arrived at 1 and were able to have lunch until 2pm. This seems like a good time to come as most of us got the table without the reservation. That one hour for lunch is more than enough time.More
