The Es Racó d´es Teix restauarant in Deià on the North coast of Mallorca is a very fine restaurant, with an excellent and varied menu, beautifully presented, in a charming old house on a hill overlooking the ocean. I would recommend it highly, were it not for the difficulty in reaching the restaurant, which turned out, for us, to be... More

We chose this restaurant because we were meeting friends for a special occasion. The setting is gorgeous and the service excellent. We went for lunch and had the lunch menu rather than the a la carte. Perhaps this is the reason that our meal was very good but not the "blew me away" meal we expect in a Michelin starred... More

We visited many years ago and decided to risk it with our 6 year old daughter - would it be OK with kids? The food and the view were glorious. The lobster ravioli and turbet beautifully cooked and some of the best food we've had for a while. They were lovely with our daughter - a waiter brought a saucer... More

From the warm welcome to petit fours Es Raco aka Joseph's is a very special experience. Service was attentive and charming, although there was quite a gap (30 mins) between starters and main courses. It was a relaxed dinner and Es Raco wasn't looking to turn the table so this was not an issue. The lobster starter was a beautiful... More

This was an amazing meal with excellent service. The staff couldn't do enough to make our dining experience memorable. There was no rush and the whole evening was spent enjoying exquisite food with the sommelier advising on the appropriate wine for each dish. The special apple tart with the White mallorcan wine finished the night off beautifully.

We were lucky enough to have a beatifully positioned table here and could watch the changing colours of the Mountain backdrop as the sun went down. Service was immaculate and formal, giving an impressive dining experience. It was our most expensive meal during our stay in Deia and an enjoyable experience.

My wife and I stayed in Deia for a few days on our honeymoon, and the highlight of our time there has to be the dinner that we had at Es Raco d'es Teix. While the beautiful setting is standard at all restaurants in Deia, the food and quality of service at Es Raco was exceptional. This was easily one... More

Our hotel in nearby Soller recommended this restaurant and secured the reservation for us. They couldn't have been more spot on as we totally loved it! We're just two friends, of normal means, who were looking for a special place to celebrate a 40th birthday. We were made to fell totally welcome from the moment we arrived and found all... More
