I had prawn cocktail followed by a delicious veal fillet wrapped in smoked bacon. My wife had melon and Serrano ham followed by sea bass. The starters were double what you would get for the same dish in the U.K. The sea bass was a full fish. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant ... unfortunately they had grilled the lobster a little bit to much ... beside that everything was excellent.

Staying at HPB up the hill and late back from sightseeing so asked the desk for a local recommendation. She suggested this inexpensive place. We had the turbot. This came on a piece of steamed thick cut fatty bacon absolutely covered in chopped almonds. The function of the almonds was to disguise the fact the the fish was curling up... More

Dear Smartyfartblast; First at all thanks for giving your opinion. We feel sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. We will check all matters you pointed. The turbot is always fresh and should be serve with a little of butter but not too many. Would like to invite you to visit in your next trip so you can prove it. Saludos. More

We have had five holidays in Camp de Mar in the past 10 years and this remains our favourite restaurant. We regularly eat at lunch time when Chefs menu and menu de dia from 1pm to 4pm offer great food at great value. The menu offers three courses with wine, 3 or 4 choices per dish, menu is varied and... We ate here on a Wednesday night in March and were pleased to find that it was reasonably busy. There is nothing worse that eating in an empty restaurant. We ordered suckling pig and shoulder of lamb which are both Mallorcan specialities. There was a very long wait until our food arrived about an hour after we had first sat... More

We had a lovely evening at the Grand Sol. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food fab! Highlight was the salt baked sea bass which melted in the mouth.

It's all down to personal choice and whilst this restaurant is currently ranked at 4th in camp de Mar I think others below it are better. Having said that, it's difficult to fault. We had sea bass with fennel and hake. Both were very good but a little more expensive than other restaurants and the extra price wasn't reflected in... More
