We came here after arriving late on a Thursday in the village of Calvià. It was the first (and only?) restaurant we came across that was open to our knowledge, and we are so glad we decided to check it out. The decor is a bit surreal... Paintings of food, paintings of bullfights, posters of bullfights, candid and posed photos... More

A little off the beaten track in Calvia. We were only there to meet up with friends. A rustic setting, the bar interior decorated with cycle vests. The family has many friends in the cycle community who train off season and then dine here. Established 29 years ago and keeping the same staff for many many years. You are served... More

Decided to visit this restaurant after reading the reviews. I have to say it lived up to its reputation. Bread and olives with the best alioli I have tasted. Ordered chicken soup for starter which was obviously home made and very tasty. Full of veg and noodles. For main I had chicken breast with pepper sauce. My husband had rabbit... More

Truly authentic Majorca family restaurant recommended by the staff at Castell Son Claret. Had chicken with peppers, lamb cutlet and home made almond cake. Buzzing atmosphere with the feeling of a mountain hut. No nonsense 'go for your tea any day of the week' place. Try it.

If you want traditional, wholesome, great tasting food, this is THE place. Theo and his family are very warm and put their heart and soul into their restaurant, it's a great place to eat, I loved it, we were in the area for 4 nights and we ate here for two of them and each meal was fantastic.

As usual we visited Ca'n Torrat last week - nothing changes! The staff are very welcoming; the ambience is very traditional rustic Mallorquin, the menu is always the same. In summer you go for the balcony; in winter for the warmth indoors. You know exactly what you are going to get and it hardly ever disappoints. This time, there was... More

It's a popular place and essential to book, but the staff are nonetheless very welcoming and helpful. Portions are generous such that it might make sense to share a starter or pudding. The Gambas are the real deal not the min versions usually served. The frito mallorquin is delicious. I wasn't wild about the cabrito (goat) but I was experimenting.... More

My friends and I went to this restaurant as we were recommended . We enjoyed a pleasant meal with good service . We were just about to order desert when my friend came back to the ladies room and on approaching our table saw a large cockroach on the floor crawling towards our table. We pointed this out to our... More
