Welcome to Tapasbar & restaurant “ Los Amigos”In the pedestrian center of Cala d´Or you will find Tapasbar and restaurant Los Amigos.We serve over 30 different kinds of Spanish and Mexican Tapas.Already in the daytime our large and cozy terrace is a nice place to meet up with friends for a nice cup of coffee, a homemade fruit juice or a delicious cocktail in the afternoon. If you are hungry we will serve you a nice sandwich, wrap or some of our famous tapas.In the evening we serve you lots of different Spanish and Mexican tapas. Food was excellent and the prices were amazing!

We are so impressed with this restaurant. From the greeting at the beginning to the final wave off, it was great. The food was so delicious and the prices were fantastic for the quality of food we were given. I have a nut allergy and they adhered to this so we’ll giving us another complimentary bread basket with plain ciabatta bread rolls, so kind. This is one of our favourite restaurants as a result of a great night. We are definitely coming again!

Good Food shame about bits of the service.

Walked past and they had a table at busy time so we gave it a try. Food took a while to come and all meals were served separately such that we all ate alone. Food was ok and staff ok also. The lady we had was very attentive and apologetic that our meals took so long and came at different times. Got the idea that the kitchen was not in control and certainly when the food did come out the kitchen there was confusion amongst the staff as to which table it was for. Staff seemed quite stressed. Won’t go back on this trip but I’m sure they get plenty of business.

So good we went twice!

Great food and even better staff who are more than happy to answer any questions about the food you are unsure of in regards to taste and texture. Unlimited tapas offer is a great deal as you can order from the entire menu and not just the tapas section. Some of the portions can be quite large such as the spare ribs, so if you are wanting to try many things before getting too full you can ask your server for smaller portions. Happy hour is a must as it was the best pina colada I had all week along with cocktails of the day which were very nice and not something I would normally order.

Los amigos Cala D’or Terrible

We were really disappointed with our food and service at Los Amigos. The staff were doing their best but totally understaffed. However the food was also horrendous. The salsa, guacamole and sour cream were straight from a packet in the supermarket. The nachos were so poorly presented! We had 3 tapas, and two drinks each which cost €45! This is outrageous for the quality of service and food we received! The proprietor is far more concerned with its fancier sister restaurant next door and is happy to throw out any old muck to the customers of Los Amigos.

Terrible service!!

Incredible! after 40 years enjoying restaurants, I've found the worst service I have ever seen... Almost 2hrs to get the 4 dishes we ordered, absolutely no service at all, we were ignored by waiters and owner. Food was not great and the service was terrible, the good point is that I now know how awful a service can be... Congratulations?

Worst Burrito and fajitas ever had!!!

The chilli nachos were below average; just basic tortilla chips with chilli beef no cheese or sauce. Burritos are meant to have rice and beans inside them, this tiny burrito hardly had any chicken in it and was completely tasteless. The chicken used in the fajita and burrito looked brown and cheap, and very little of it. Overall the food was terrible would not recommend.

Our worst restaurant experience in Cala d'or ! You can go there if you are able to wait 1h30 to get your dinner when the restaurant is half empty. (Obviously?) this was the only place where we were not asked if we enjoyed our meals... Don't expect very good food, it is just fast food whitout the "fast". We have tried many different restaurants around and all of them were far better, enjoy!

Terrible service in a great location with easy food

After we got our Drinks we had to wait pretty long and even had to call the waitress so we could order food. Drinks were not cold (mojito!) Then the waiting went on, and on, and on… tables who came after us got their food, while we still waited, hungry. After a while came a waitress to let us know that our food shall come soon. Waiting time about an hour so far! When i told them how annoying it was to wait while others could eat who ordered after us, the stuff just shrug her shoulders and nothing else… The food it self was alright! They didnt come to clean the table after we finished our dish. It was hard to got their attention to ask for the bill. They had very little stuff for all the tables. And I guess they had a mess with the orders, which can happen. Frustrating was especially their reaction! Ignorance instead of an apology! Location is very good, straight in the pedestrian area.

Go for happy hour cocktails at least and good service

4 star review based mainly on the cocktails priced well during happy hour and good service. Only time we had food we asked for vegan tapas: Patatas braves came out as just fried squares of potato - when we asked about the sauce we were informed no sauce as we wanted vegan - but they didn’t tell us when we ordered and asked for it to be vegan that it would just be fried potatoes - they did bring a couple of thimbles of salsa out though at this point. The Padron peppers and the fries were nice though. Go for the cocktails ( happy hour until 7pm). If after vegan food options maybe go elsewhere.

Exceptional food, strong drinks & fabulous staff

Wow, what a fantastic place. We visited once for some drinks, then returned the next day for happy hour drinks and All You Can Eat tapas n Mexican (as it covered their entire menu!!). 5 till 7 for the drinks buy 1 get - 1 free. 5 till 6 for AYCE at €11.60 ea and 6 to 7 €21. So I ordered a Mai Tai cocktail and long island ice tea for the missus, 10 minutes later, 2 pints of Mai Tai arrived and 2 massive long islands. I said why 4 he said, "Buy 1 get 1 free," I guess to help control the bills. It's very literal, though. I did laugh. Well, you order 4 plates at a time, but any unfinished get a levvy of €2.50. To stop waste, obviously. The restaurant is spotless, as were the toilets. There's just 2cwzitresses and a bar girl when we were here and they were so friendly. We had a good laugh with them. Now, the food was seriously good. I love calamari and had it in several restaurants, and whilst good, this was the best. The mussels were plump and tender, teriyaki beef was fab, etc. It was all exceptional. The wife asked for a spiced Marg as she heard it on an American rich wives program. Well, the restaurant was all laughing as it nearly blew our heads off. So the waitress took back to the bar to water down. Nope, still too strong. A 2nd go was getting better. On the 3rd, even the bar girl came out and said it's just a mango margarita 🍹 now. Everyone was laughing. What a night we had. It was absolutely fantastic, and the chef was a cut above the rest. I think the waitresses were irina and josi. Highly, very highly recommend a visit.

really poor burrito’s & quesadillas

not an authentic Mexican (which we half expected) & strange portions. we were coaxed in with the Happy Hour deal with us brilliant. but €8 for a ‘burritto’ that was just very dry pulled pork and a dab of cheese. no rice etc!. my partners Quesadilla’s were burnt and lacked any filling. Service was good, but the food was disappointing.

Super welcoming and caring!

This is a super cool space with great ambiance. The drinks are made with care and the food is really tasty and satisfying. Michael is an amazing host and will take you through your options as well as making sure you're having a good time! We came here on our first day by chance, and came back every day for the rest of our 10-day stay. You really feel welcomed and taken care of. Thank you Los Amigos!

Nice vibe

We went here twice during our holiday as the food was good and reasonably priced for Cala d’or! My husband had the chicken fajitas €12.50 both times and I had the tuna tacos €12.50 and pulled pork burritos €9.00 with sides all of which were very tasty. The staff were very busy and did get our order wrong but this was quickly rectified and everyone seemed happy to work there.

Ordered food which was fine, but it took ages to come, only about 4 tables occupied but they were prioritising the all you can eat tables who arrived after us. The potato bravas - one plate, the potato's were cold, the other hot but over done. Burrito's and Tacos, charred (burnt) meat.

Everybody’s amigos

We were served by a lovely girl with dreadlocks who’s name I didn’t catch. She was friendly, welcoming and attentive as were all the staff. The food was delicious but the one criticism is that the portion sizes for the mains are slightly too small. For that reason I couldn’t quite give it 5 stars but we had a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend and would definitely return if we were ever in the area again.
