Ate two breakfasts during our stay and would rate those as fair. Our tour group had one included dinner and it was among the best meals we had on the trip. We also couldn't find a restaurant that looked interesting as we returned to the hotel one of the days and decided to eat lunch at the hotel. We were... More

I am not sure if this is normal, but during our visit it seemed that only part of the restaurant was open for dinner. As a result we ended up in a narrow, L-shaped room with only a dozen or so tables. For a restaurant in what is an expensive hotel we thought the menu choices were poor, and thought... More

The dinners we had were both very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The portions of swordfish and chicken were very generous. Dessert also was very good.

Wonderful food on Christmas Eve, a perfect start to our stay in Ubeda. Nothing was too much trouble, a packed restaurant but the staff were on top of everything, and no one was kept waiting, food was hot and wine glasses always topped up.

Decided to have a drink in the bar downstairs and waited ages for someone to appear to take our order. The barman was less than gracious when he appeared 15 minutes later. Upstairs, we were the only people in the restaurant for some time, eventually being joined by a few others, but atmosphere was chilly. I wanted a glass of... More

Although quite expensive at €31 plus wine the food was excellent. The menu features local specialities and there was not a chip in sight unlike many restaurants that cater for the tourist trade.

I tried to save some money and go to a one of the little restaurants in the town. But finally I deicide to order my diner in the hotel and I was very surprised by the quality of local meal when is prepared by a good cooker and served by the very gentile servers.

We were a large group with children and we called in without a reservation. Staff prepared a table for us in a small, separate dining room in no time! We ordered the menu which was good value. I had the best morcilla ever followed by stewed meat on cous cous. The desert variation was delicious and too big to finish.... More

Paradores are the place to stay when travelling the backroads in Spain. This is a nice one. Only down-side is the rolling luggage haul across the cobble stone square. Our group enjoyed a great meal; salad w/ fresh cheese w/nuts, chicken in almond sauce, and a choice of pastries. Our room was very roomy and clean. The breakfast was above... More
