We only stopped for a drink but decided to have a cake as well which was fabulous. The meals on the menu also looked good with a variety of home cooked dishes inc partridge and wild boar. It is well off the beaten track and you could think you have taken a wrong turn. But it is well worth the... More

In the out-of-the-way hamlet of El Acebuchal, which is part of Cómpeta, this is an amazing setting with incredible food. Even the home-made bread is to die for! Brilliant place - we go there several times a year.

We visited here last night for some dinner and having had the Paella here before some years ago and found it to be very good, we decided to have one tonight. There are three choices of; Meat, Vegetable and Fish. We opted for the latter. It's cooked fresh so you have to wait 30 minutes or so but it's well... More

Gorgeous Spanish mountain food in a great location. Really shouldn't be posting a review want to keep this a secret and for it to remain unspoilt. Hairy ride back down the mountain!!

We only stopped for a drink mid afternoon but what a welcome. Sebastian was happy to tell us about his family and the history of the village. We were told the food is great so will definitely make a reservation on our next visit. A friendly bar in a beautiful village what more could you ask for.

Wonderful Food, location, service, all fab and very well worth it! But choose your route... Tripadvisor map took us to Competa, from where we were given great directions by lovely Information lady, but still 7k back where we had come from and then 6k mountain unpaved track, quite hairy, plus stream crossing (fine) as mentioned in previous post. MUCH better... More

Called here at 5pm a few days ago, but we're told they were cleaning and the restaurant was open 7 days a week but 10am-4pm, we were offered a drink but declined. We decided to go back and visited at 12.30pm, my wife ordered the lamb in honey and cinnamon, and I ordered the venison in mushrooms and onions, we... More

As previously stated you wouldn't know about this place without a recommendation. Both the food and service were amazing. Portions are very large so don't fill up on the lovely bread! Comfortably the best meal that we had whilst in Frigiliana

Visited this restaurant for lunch on the strength of its great reviews and we were certainly not dissapointed. The drive to the village is an event in itself and the setting is so relaxing. A lovely friendly welcome was waiting for us and the food was superb. The bread and oil would feed a family and the tomato and orange... More

Staying in Frigiliana we heard about this restaurant which isn't far but has some dirt road to negotiate, which can sometimes be a bit hairy, but positive reports drove us to seek it out. We were intrigued with the menu which didn't disappoint. The home baked bread with a plate of olive oil is a wonderful prelude to our dishes... More
