Great family experience!

We are a family of 6. We could not have been made more welcome. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate an early dinner here, and as such were the only people in the restaurant. As it was a January evening it was unfortunately too cold to eat outside: a pity as the terrace on the plaza would be a great place to while away a couple of hours. The food was fine, and the service friendly, but neither... More

House wines also noticeably first rate. We will be back.

The setting ot this restaurant is of a typical Spanish plaza, with the beautiful church as back-ground.The service is excellent, and the menu has dishes for every taste. The meals are freshly cooked so expect a short wait, relax with an aperitif and listen to the chat of tourists and locals who stroll to the area in the evenings. We have a friend who requires... Had a nice little family lunch in here; simple chips, eggs and rashers but it was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. They constantly popped out to us to check if we were enjoying the food and if we needed anything. The views from the terrace are simply breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit if you are... More

Our 3rd or 4th visit and we will continue to go back. This restaurant is set in a beautiful location and the service and food is very good. Booking is required; it is always busy and it is easy to understand why. It stands opposite the village church in a little square and has a wonderful atmosphere. We love going... More

This is the bet spanish food I have had in the area. The anchovies, aubergine, mushrooms and grilled vegetables are all delicious. I have also had steak and grilled fish here both of which were excellent. The place is atmospheric in itself but best at dusk because of the delightful way that the setting sun alters the colours of the... More

Another holiday, another return to this place. Just wonderful. I finally tried the roast shoulder of lamb -- sublime. Partner had chicken -- she loved it. Will keep returning as it's so good.

My family of 8 adults and a 2 year old ate here. We reserved a table as it was always very busy and we hadn't been able to get in other nights. The staff were great and made a fuss of the baby. There was a table of 20+ in at the same time as us meaning we had a... More

La Taberna del Sacristan is a bit more pricey that some of Frigliana's restaurants but the food and setting more than make up for the few more euros you part with, The service is impeccable and the codfish Pil Pil is to die for. Sitting in the square across from the church watching the old ladies of Spain come out... More
