Stopped here for a quick thirst quenching beer, with the wife kids mother and dog. Dog was made as welcome as the humans . Slightly more expensive than other bars in the area, but not on the Pueblo which seemed generally slightly more expensive. The compensation though is the amazing views!

This is my current go to place for food in February in Mojacar pueblo (especially as the main tourist square with the view is currently a building site!). It requires careful ordering as some of the prices are really quite scary and obviously aimed at the tourist market. However, if you choose something fairly typically local (boquerones, ham eggs and... More

Not sure if I'd attempt this place in the middle of summer as it had all the markings of a tourist trap but it was actually really lovely on a cold January lunchtime. Inside the place is really simple with beautiful traditional blue pattern tiles and just a few tables. The waiter spoke no English at all (which is fine... More

Absolutely not worth the money. Complete tourist trap. Went here on the recommendation of the receptionist of our hotel. Said fish was brought in daily. All of our meals were from a can or from the freezer. Typical place that overcharges and no quality to their food.

We've come out to Mojacar very frequently and this is the restaurant we come back to most. It's simple and unpretentious and has a very authentic atmosphere. In the summer, everyone eats outside in the church square. In winter, the interior is basic, but it's very friendly and locals will even share their wine with you as you watch the... More

If it's hot eat on the square outside, if it's cool eat in the tiny simple Spanish bar/restaurant. Truly super Spanish food, griddled vegetables, clams, paella - they're all excellent! In the winter when the tables and chairs outside are packed away you could easily miss it or even dismiss it as it is quite basic inside. My only advice... More

Neither unnecessarily fussy or Forman, this bar/ restaurant remains a consistent presence in this town for many years. Easy to pass by without a glance, but whether you sit in or out in the square, you are arrives of simple spanish food cooked really well by the hands of the owner. Whether it's the tortilla, pinchitos or albondigas, the food... More

It's not easy to find real Spanish food in such a touristy place as Mojácar. There are many restaurants with good reviews, but these are mostly visited by British tourists looking for British food, so beware. Rincon del Embrujo is a very small place near the central square of old Mojácar, and we visited it on a very quiet night... More

An excellent Spanish restaurant. Simple, wholesome food and even if you don't speak Spanish you should certainly give this a try, especially if you sit on the lovely terrace beside the church.
