good for big groups looking for a "typical" place with fado and other regional stuff. The rooms are very big but a bit "cold" in terms of environment.

When you are in Porto, Portugal you should visit this show (and restaurant). Go for the entertainment, not the food. You will have an adequate, but not outstanding buffet and then thoroughly enjoy a show of fado music, folklorica and dance. The MC is an irrepressible individual who greatly enhances the evening. All in all a camp but fun evening.

My mom and I went in Heranca Magna after spent the whole afternoon at hotel (was a raining day). The best choice ever. We loved it!! We made new friends and had a spectacular dinner. The Fado show was great and the end of the night everyone started dancing the traditional music invited by staff.

My husband and I visited the Heranca Magna (September 2012) on my birthday, while on a trip to Porto, Portugal. We were privileged to dine with one of the owners who was very insightful and who went out of his way along with his staff to make my birthday the best I've ever experienced. He explained to us that he... More

when the show starts you would be forgiven for thinking this is the most amateurish show you will ever see, indeed not very professional but when it come to what the Portuguese know best, then you enjoy every minute. The fados, (only the Portuguese understand these songs), the dancing and the audience participation is very good and enjoyed by all.... More

I went to Porto from Poland, I was with a group of people. I was very happy to attend thier show, they were very nice, they did very nice performance and gave us a good impression about life of people from Portugal. The show consisted of many parts, we even danced with them, and we all were very very happy.

I accompanied a large group of tourists and, unexpected, had a nice and fun evening. The traditional dance show + fado was very nice and entertaining. I usually don't look for this type of venue, but the I got surprised and really enjoyed it. We didn't eat, just had some drinks (the first round was included in the show's ticket).

Yes, I've been there, and if you are interested in having a genuine Portuguese dinner along with some interesting Portuguese shows (traditional songs, fado and folklore), you certainly will enjoy this fantastic place at Gaia which has all the ingredients to make you pass a few hours of fun as you will participate of the show! Remarkable!
