Ended up there, with a group of colleagues, somewhat by accident. Spectacular seafood. Very fresh and delicious. You can see the grilling just in front. The restaurant easily accommodated 12 of us for lunch.
This restaurant in Afarada just outside Gaia on the coast has a stall of seafood outside and you choose your fish. We chose a large Sole to share between two. It was the bast fish we ate all week - wonderfully barbecued outside .

"Armazem do Peixe" (fish warehouse) is one of the best restaurants in the Porto region, on the banks of the Rio D'Ouro.
It has a great variety of delicious Fish Dinners. Also, tradicional tasty sides, with generous portions, and very good Portuguese wines.
We visited this restaurante several times before. Last sunday we went there looking for a fresh grilled fish. The restaurante was full and we waited some minutes for a tabel. So far so good...
We asked for a grilled see bass and a sea bream....More
This is third time I have gone to Armazém do Peixe and I must say waiting for the food is always worth it. If you are looking for good service and want a good time, ask for JOÃO LAMEGO because he is awesome! Thanks again...More
Such a shame: such a nice place and nice sea food and fresh fish. However the fish i asked was overly salty. The service won’t be an amazing experience and the starters are wsy too expensive. I will not return
