Took waitresses recommendation for the Chicken Meatballs with Vodka sauce. They LOOKED amazing, but looks were deceiving. There was NO FLAVOR in the meatballs or the sauce. The bread they served was stale and my husband had Chicken Parm which he said tasted like chef...Boyardee. I barely ate my dinner, and they did not compensate me at all (which I understand they have bills to pay, but really, she could tell I only ate a few bites. The chef needs to taste what he/she is putting out because it is not as good as it looks!More

We went on mother's day. Not an easy day for restaurants. We still received great service. The food was great. One of our group even ordered a special. It was freshly made and very tasty. We came at the end of the day and the...food and service were still first rate. My son and I had the torttoloni boscaiola. The tomato cream sauce was just right, not acidic at all. The mushrooms made it very special. We both enjoyed it very much. Dessert was good with coffee Americana.More

One couple recommend Labella. We are so glad they did. Everyone raves about their order. My first time there,I asked the server her fav. We discussed two item. Since it was my first time there we selected traditional Italian- lasagne. It was fabulous! Yummers! Enormous...portion! I had so much left over! Enough to take home, but I didn’t. I would really like going again. The pear salad looked delish!More

Not impressed. You will pay a lot more for being Plant Based or Vegan. —- Going out to dinner and being primarily on a Plant Based diet is hard. I’ve learned to always call ahead to make sure there are options and I did so...here when friends decided to go to La Bella, in Ghent. I was told that they only had one “possible” Vegan option on the menu- Gnocchi. Not a problem. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and staff were friendly. As recommended, I order the Gnocchi Caprese ($16) and asked to substitute cooked veggies for the in-house mozzarella. Food was good but when the bill came, I was charged an extra $7 for the 5 brussel sprouts and a few cooked zucchini’s that were added to the dish. When I asked the waitress why I was charged so much more even though I didn’t have any mozzarella, she said that’s how they do it. Not wanting to cause a seen in front of friends, I accepted the up-charge. Food was okay but completely NOT worth the $41 (including tip) spent on a glass of house wine and a pure veggie dish. One of my friends ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, wine and dessert came away paying less.More

Each time I've visited Andrea's, the food is always good. Andrea, the owner is always warm and happy to make recommendations. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and on top of things. Most importantly, the food is authentically Italian and always delicious. You can tell...that the freshest ingredients are used and that the recipes are probably old family recipes straight from Italy. I highly recommend Andrea's.More

A group of us recently dined and fully enjoyed our dinner. Very good, bu not perfect. Andrea' had fresh scallops which were ordered and were excellent. My linguine w/ red clam sauce was tasty but a little disappointing as to the number of clams (6)...which were served in shell. Our waiter offered side Caesar salads which turned out to be the standard salad on the menu ($8.99'ish)..... a little high for a "side". I appreciate that everything is cooked to order using authentic Italian recipes. We might return.More

We've been here twice. The first time a couple of years ago was mediocre, but the last time a few weeks ago was very good. We had our infant granddaughter and it was a very comfortable, low key restaurant. There were other kids as well....The food was very good, the service very friendly, and the space very comfortable. Easy to park and not crowded. Good wine as well.More

I visited this restaurant for lunch with family around 12:15 and the entire place was empty. We should have left when we entered the door. The meal was terrible and I could have made better food at home myself. They give you bread (which was...burnt) with olive oil with your meal. Most authentic Italian restaurants give you salad with garlic knots. We also had to wait 45 minutes for it. For the restaurant being empty you would have thought we would have gotten the food much faster I would hate to see if they had a couple tables. The ceiling also had a lot of water damage since there was a lot of black mold spots. I definitely do not recommend this place at all. The music did not fit the atmosphere and was too loud to hear the people around at the table. The server on another note, hardly came to the table and had a chip on her shoulder.More

And that's what it is......a sister company. I prefer the one on Laskin Rd in Virginia Beach more for the atmosphere and the front store front with all the goodies! But this one is very good, just not as good as the other. But hey,...it work's in a pinch! They also have a smaller menu.More
