We picked up the lamb and beef gyro and the mixed kebab plate. Both were excellent, ready quickly, and delivered right to the car. I highly recommend and know we will be back.

I stopped in for a late lunch and was a bit skeptical by the location/building. There wasn't anyone there at 3pm (naturally, past lunch and pre-dinner). I ordered a gyro expecting the norm and was wow'd with every bite! I am a gyro and lamb...lover and was shocked at the tastes and quality of what I got. It tasted as though the cook really put time into grilling the meat and giving it extra flavor. I was surprised at this hidden gem!More

Don't let appearance of the building turn you away. Not much to look at but parking available behind the building. Stew was ok, not great. Appetizer plate serving is small for the price. But the hummus and Pita are amazing. I also got takeout of...Borek, lamb gyros, eggplant salad, Greek salad with grilled chicken, yogurt-feta spread, & more hummus & Pita, which others said to be very good.More

I had lunch here on a workday. Park on the street (facing Brambleton), if you arrive before noon there is plenty of space. The parking lot in back was full. I had 2 sides: the rice and the lamb kabab. EXCELLENT! I will be back...and come often! Service was FAST. Pay at the register when done, there is no check. One level, no stairs. Plenty of small tables. Cosy.More

Had the Kofte platter. Delish spiced meat patties char grilled with pita and I chose the salad. Satisfying lunch for under 11 bucks.

Don't be put off by the building! It's not much to look at, but they have it where it counts! Amazing food! We've tried gyros and kebabs and love it all! The Turkish Delight and Baklava are incredible!

Finding a good place for good kofte and kebabs is tough. Istanbul is the best in the area and possibly the eastern shore. Service is prompt and food is amazing. Prices are good too.

We ate lunch here on a two day stay. By far the best gyro I have had since leaving Europe. They were real gyros with beef and lamb cooked on a spit and shaved off. Small but worth the trip in for a excellent gyro.

Before a show at Push Comedy, our friends suggested this restaurant. Easy walk from NEON district (Norfolk's new ARTS district) to this stand alone humble building next to the Greyhound Bus Station. That being said, this will be our go-to before events at Chrysler Hall...and Scope. It was THAT good - 'best gyro' says my husband and we've frequented most Mediterranean places in Norfolk... Gyros, Gyro platter, hummus, Chicken kebabs and baklava was ordered. The turkey and lamb meat off spit was quickly grilled and super flavorful. With the platter I ordered a Greek salad and pita bread. I ordered a side of hummus which was delicious but not as creamy as I prefer. Salad had more of an oil and vinegar dressing but had plenty of feta cheese to overlook the dressing. Baklava was made on site and worthy of a repeat. Restaurant has a handful of booths, manager/owner (?) came by and answered our questions and several people stopped in for take out. Small parking lot in back as there is no street parking that close to Brambleton.More
