So far we have already been here a few times, for lunch on a Sunday, and it always plays out well. We get to the restaurant, it's full, we wait a few minutes for a table, and after that all is well. I have tried...both fish and meat, and it's always great. This is a family restaurant where everyone is chatty and friendly! Will keep coming back.More

Four of us went to this restaurant for dinner on a cold quiet Sunday night. We didn't know what to expect apart from being in a homely cafe style restaurant. We each had a top class meal and their lovely red house wine. Apart from...being good value the service was very friendly. We all agreed we would return in the future. Well done.More

I am absolutely astonished at negative reviews! We have lived here for 18 years and have lunch at Ti Teresa most weeks. We have NEVER had a bad meal. The food is excellent, the price amazingly cheap and the atmosphere very friendly. These days it...is necessary to book because they are full most days - the Portuguese love it and we see many Brits, Dutch and German folk on each occasion.More

Often passed the place and have heard "good" reviews. What a disappointment! Two of us had fried fish. It was in batter and literally swimming in oil. Service slow. Puddings ok and nice cosy surroundings. Won't be going there again!

My favourite lunch spot. Prato do Dia is a choice of four dishes, usually two meat and two fish choices the . All the courses are traditional Portuguese and delicious, but get there early as it is very popular.

I have passed by this restaurant many times and decided to try it today! Must be good if the Portugese love it!!!!! All I can say is that I have had better meals served up to me in a public hospital!!! It was so bad...I could only eat the boiled potatoes; tried the broccoli but the amount of water dripping from it I knew it would be tasteless. As for the hake!!! Disgusting the egg was ok thou!!!More

We had a superb traditional Portuguese lunch at Ti Teresa today and paid €8.50 for three courses including wine and coffee. Better still the food was amazing, the depth of flavours delicious. This place is a must but be warned arrive early as it gets...very busy! Nuno is a brilliant host. Thank you!More

I had a late lunch in Ti Teresa, a roadside restaurant in Alcantarilha. As we arrived around 2 pm the waiter told as that the restaurant is quite full, it would take some time before we could have lunch and that the today's menu food...was already eaten and only a la carte was available. But this was very ok for us as we were not in a hurry and after looking at the list, we could see that the main plates are economically priced (about 9-12€/plate). I ate "beef house style" and was surprised how big portion of meat I got on my plate, it was too much for me to eat totally. The food was good and served from hot plate. The restaurant was closed at 3pm, but we had plenty of time to finish our lunch and order coffee, so it was no hurry to get out. I need to give credit to our waiter, who took care of us very friendly way and was actually little singing when cleaning the other tables. This created a very positive athosphere to the restaurant. You should test this roadside restaurant.More

We have been there because this restaurant was rated No. 1 in Alcantarilha on Tripadvisor. What we got there was highly disappointing. We have been to all the other restaurants in town in Alcantarilha as well and every single one was better than this. The...atmosphere at Ti Teresa is nothing special - it is easy to reach since it is directly at N125. We were sitting in the sunroom as the weather was good and most of the other guests were seated there as well. Among them a few locals, but they seemed like they were there only for a quick snack or a drink, not for dinner. We ordered pork and beef from the grill. In the menu card this was even listed as "tenderloin". What we got was meat in poor quality, soaked in frying oil with french fries and a few vegetables. While the vegetables were absolutely tasteless (no spices whatsoever), the fries were ok. The meat was something we cannot recommend to anybody else. Did not even know how it tasted because it was just over and over covered with oil. No difference between pork and beef, hence. Seems like the chef in this restaurant has just one big fryer which is used for preparation of the entire menu card. The prices were somewhat ok, although way to high for what we got. If you ask me whether I would recommend Ti Teresa, it all comes down to two questions: 1) Are you just looking for something fast, big, and fat and would you otherwise go to McDonalds? Try out Ti Teresa instead, you will not regret it 2) Do you know the difference between a filet and a tenderloin? Better not go there and look for something else in the nearby area.More

We lunched here on a Saturday and enjoyed a delicious meal for an amazing price! There were olives and bread on the table for us to nibble on, I can’t resist olives! The vegetable soup was followed by a choice of mains, we had lasagne...and the black pork with rice and beans, with a choice of drink which included wine, beer or soft drink. We did not have any room for dessert but the list seemed endless, we ended with a delicious frothy coffee. Excellent food, great service and all for 8€ per person! We will definitely return, and are happy to recommend this restaurant to everyone!More

Great place, with lovely food. Loved the steak. On the second visit we were 5 minutes late and they refused to serve and told us that they were closed, but the cook was still in the kitchen and they were serving food to others. It...was a bit sad for us that they not made an effort to accommodate us. If you are coming for decent and tasty meal you won't be disappointed, just don't be late.More
