Autumn in Tuscany comes with a variety of weathers. When we decided to visit Cantinetta di Rignana we came across strong winds, thunder and lots of rain. Challenging on most Italian roads but especially on the dirtroad leading to Rignana. But what was it worth battling the storm. The mezzelune with truffle was one of the best dishes we've tasted... This place is such a lovely place to have lunch, dinner was good as well. But the lunch times seem to be more attractive because of the views and the goings on at this time of year. The staff are lovely, Silvia and Fabrizio are very helpful and kind to both Tony and I, and they have always gone above... More

One of my favourite meals ever! Quite tricky to find & definitely recommend satnav but so worth the trip. The road is a rocky track in parts but keep going! Get a terrace table with beautiful views over the Tuscan hillside and nearby vineyards. Chef Massimo cooks a mean Bistecca allo Fiorentina - local speciality. It was great but we... More

Great views, we went at night so we only were able to enjoy for a few minutes before it got too dark. Food was excellent, I highly recommend their appetizer plate for two or more. Great wine and great service. Do not miss this place if you are a food and wine enthusiast.

The restaurant is in old farm buildings overlooking a beautiful valley. Simplicity is the key but the food is very tasty. Seasonal dishes as tasty as you could hope for in the Tuscan countryside. Our Beef was not perfect but otherwise we enjoyed every mouthful and also their own Chianti. Well worth the expedition over narrow country roads to reach... More

Can't stop thinking about this place, this was by far the best lunch spot of my trip. It's a little tricky to get to but so worth it! Made reservations in advance and got a perfect corner table overlooking the beautiful vineyards & hills of Tuscany beyond. The food was not foreshadowed by the magnificent view, everything was so tasty... More

In a remote part of Chianti, the restaurant has plenty of space to sit also large groups. Service is quite fast even if the number of guests is important. Large selection of pasta and good Chianti wine.

A typical restaurant in the middle of the toscan loneliness. You will not only enjoy excellent food, prepared according to local recipes, but you can also enjoy the hospitality and cordiality of this house. I would recommend this restaurant unrestricted.

If you love typical and regional Tuscan meals, you are here at the right and best place. Besides wild boar and osso buco in tremendous portions you can have tasty noodles in various preparations. All pastas are home-made and delicious with their individual sauces. The wine card is meeting all expectations and the prices of food and wine are well... More
