We toured Tuscany for eight days and ate in 16 restaurants (including the famous Cibreo in Florence. NONE could compare with La Cantinetta - so well done to you! This is what we were really looking for - so next time we will arrive at opening time to really soak up the fantastic countryside surroundings, great food and of course... More

Almost a hidden secret. It takes quite a while and unprepared road to get there. The scenery is amazing, this place is overlooking typical Toscana valley and wine hills.. Thé Restaurant itself serves local specialities at a high level of quality.. In 2 days I eat there 3 times and managed to taste almost everything on the menu! Everything great!... More

This restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, is a hidden jewel in the Tuscan landscape. The food was not only beautifully presented, but it was mouth-wateringly good. I chose a starter with truffle and burrata, pasta with truffle and to keep to the theme, a cheese sformato with truffle, my husband and children chose a more varied selection from the... More

Came here with a few local friends. Warm welcoming service here, not a dull moment with the guys here serving. Will have you in splits. The food is orgasmic. The truffle pasta is to die for! Situated in the middle of the Chianti vineries, do not forget to get drunk on the local wine. Ps: do not miss to meet... More

You need a good GPS and a very small car. It is down a picturesque small road in Tuscany. This place also has rooms to stay, the restaurant opens up on a spectacular view of their vineyard. Try all of their wines, ask the owner what to drink, you will not be disappointed. We were a party of 6 and... More

We were so happy to find this place.. it's tucked away down a gravel road on the top of a valley and when you park up you could be forgiven for thinking you've arrived at an old farmhouse. when you head down to the restaurant, you'll be blown away! The casual outdoor yet covered restaurant has panoramic views of vineyards!... More

We,a family of five, were very disappointed with la cantinetta. The view is fantastic, but the restaurant is seriously understaffed. We were seated at eight and out orders were taken 45 minutes later. We didn't get bread on the table until we asked for it 30 minutes later. We got our starters when other tables (later then us) were already... More

Been here twice before, and coming back was the only thing I had decided I had to do when we got here - even before we left Norway for Tuscany. I was satisfied again with all my courses. The missus had a bit of bad luck with some chewy bits in her main course - but she still says she... More

In two weeks in Amalfi and Tuscany, this was our favourite restaurant. Tucked away some 4km from Badia Di Passignano, the restaurant is a true hidden gem. Beautiful vista across the Chianti countryside this restaurant delivers on every front. Excellent service and superb food and wine. We had a magnificent Florentina and fresh pasta with fresh truffle and porcini mushrooms.... More
