Our party of 8 really enjoyed lunch at the Gallo Nero. The soups, pastas, and steaks were very good. The plating was beautiful, with huge truffle shavings and piles of saffron. The staff was nice.

Our meal was so wonderful, ordered the ravioli with carmelized onions and lots of other yummy stuff. Boyfriend ordered the steak crusted with sesame seeds and shallots, which stole the show! Lovely location, lovely staff, thanks for having us on our last night here! Made it very memorable!

Started off good, nice reception, friendly and the food was very good. However as the night continued, our waiter became a ghost. Signaling didn't appear to work. A shame as we otherwise had a very good impression.

Their specialty is grilled meats, and I highly recommend their rib and sausage plate. The service is very good and English is spoken by the wait staff. There is a very nice wine list and the wines, as well as the food, is moderately priced.

After meals and meals of great pasta, pizza and chianti, it was time for a steak. We celebrated my birthday here late in our visit to the Tuscan vineyard we stayed at, Nero was just down the hill in the village and I was hankering for a steak. OMGosh! It was one of the best steaks dinners I have had!... More

We had another wonderful dinner at Gallo Nero. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is outstanding. One of my favorite dishes this time was the pear crepe, but everything was amazing.

The food is wonderful, the staff is excellent, and it's very pleasant inside. It is just around the corner from Piazza Matteotti. We've dined there several times over the years, and they keep getting better.

I made reservations here online for our last dinner in Tuscany. There was no parking that I saw, so we parked in a Coop garage. If you do that, be mindful of when it closes. It was pouring rain, so we didn't want to walk from the public parking almost 1 km away. For starters at our table, we had... More

Went for dinner after a long drive, the setting is nice, but that's about it. We were seted in a remote corner so we has to look for the waiters...the portions were nice (and no more than that) but really small. All in all - a disappoint experience.

Hello, I am sorry if you must ask for the waiter... Probably we were full and very busy. Sometimes we must have patients.. especially if we are not alone in a place. Unfortunately it is not always possible to please every guest but we always try to give the best! Unfortunately our restaurant is not with round walls and we... More
