Wandered into town after seeing the Roman villa.! Lovely food I eat the rabbit cacciatore! But the best thing there was the beer I had a local beer the Semedorato. It was easily the best beer I've ever had..! I had it on time later but this is where I found out how fantastic it was!!

We've been in Piazza Armerina after the visit to Roman Village of Casale. We've searching in the center of town where to take a meal. And we found Don Pepito. The owner, Attilio is very kindly. The food was amazing, true homemade. Plenty of flavour. The antipasti was great. The main dishes, homemade pasta with tomato sauce with meat and... More

Charging 10 EUR for bread and cover for 5 people is ridiculous. No pizza on the menu either. Food OK but nothing spectacular. Good selection of antipasti though.

A great find as we traveled through the thunder storms en route to the Villa Romano del Casale. As with everywhere in Sicily we visited the parking is a challenge; not helped by the fact that the rain was bucketing down. So at the end of the town as we were about to give up we saw this nice restaurant... More

We wandered into this family run restaurant because it happened to be close to the hotel we were staying in. We ordered the Tourist Menu that included wine, pasta, a type of meat and fruit for dessert. Both my husband and I ordered pork chops and they were the best we have ever had. They were cooked to perfection with... More

We found this quaint restaurant after a visit to Villa Romana del Casale. It is located in the center of the town of Piazza Armerina. The owner was warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with him. The food was delicious, the arancini some of the best we've ever had. Wish we could've stayed for dinner. The food, cooked by... We all joked that half of the places in Italy that are marked as Pizzeria's really are not well known for their pizza- and this place is no exception. What you want here is the Antipasti buffet lunch where the antipasti is varied and high quality. Try their arancini and enjoy some simple and classic Sicilian flavors. Nothing fussy about... More

Not at all posh, but the sort of restaurant that abounded in Italy before the advent of the wretched pizza mania. We had a salad starter, a dish of (6) large prawns, a cutlet in Marsala wine, half a litre of wine, mineral water and coffee for E43. Closed on Tuesday's, but their daughter has a restaurant about 200 meteres... More
