According to previous reviews this restaurant should be the best in town. However, we experienced the opposite. Service was bad, food was way below average. We did not get all our orders, and we were the only guests (arrived at opening).

I can't really address this one... It does give good food but it's slightly more expensive than others. You can find unconventional dishes which are not that frequent in the area. It doesn't have the sea view but it's cooler due to treas all around. You would expect a more refined restaurant and a cheaper menu in according to the... More

We stayed here as well as part of a cycling tour of Puglia. The room was lovely - Fredrico even provided a plug-in for the darn mozzies! But it's the food I should talk about !! Oh-me-oh-my! We had lunch when we arrived - stuffed aubergines as a starter, beautiful mackerel for me, steak for him! So we stayed for... More

We did a winery tour at Castel Di Salve and were recommended this restaurant by our guide for a Puglian Seafood lunch. Married with the wine from our winery tour, we had a lovely meal at Frederico's garden. Add to that it was shoulder season, so we had the entire garden to ourselves.

This place was recommended by a wine producer and it was a lovely place to drive to for lunch. Frederico suggested a variety of appetizers and a local white wine which was outstanding. The roasted pepper/tomato combination was lovely but the squid and mussel one was fantastic. We followed that with a seafood pasta (homemade) that made the previous ones... More

It was pouring with rain and this was the first open restaurant we found. We were therefore very lucky! Mainly seafood and the waiter happily translated the menu for us. All very tasty and very reasonably priced. A great find!

We ate dinner here on July 30, 2014. The night was very hot but this little gem beneath the pine trees cooled us and offered us some very good Puglia regional cooking. We began with orecchiette pasta, a local pasta, in a light tomato/basil sauce. Delicious. (I hope to find this pasta back in the states!) The next course was... More

We were happy to find this restaurant for our last night in Santa Maria di Leuca. The location is in central S M di Leuca but somewhat off the normal track. A good location if you walk from the Messapia resort. Food was authentic and tasted great. We had a wonderful risotto! Portions were quite small. Staff was nice, service... More

This little Hosteria is located beneath the pine trees in a sort of natural inlet near the sea. The location is shady and nice during the day and charming in the evenings. You really feel like you are on vacation here. The sailing school is just across the way, so the setting is very laid back and unpretentious- which is... More
