Very nice restaurant in a suggestive street of Alberobello. The food they offer is a good mix between italian traditions and new cooking techniques. Please don’t come here pretending to eat 200gr spaghetti or pizza... it’s a pretty chic restaurant where you go to take a seat if you want to taste something particular and drink a good glass of wine. For celiac people: I said I have a problem with gluten and the guys were very kind: they checked all the receipts and found appropriate and allowed food also for me.

Highly recommend. Quality food and great music!

It was monsoon weather outside and this restaurant had indoor tables. To be honest, that was the basis of our selection of lunch venue. It was a great decision since this restaurant proved to be a gastronomic highlight of 12 days in Italy! The restaurant is very small but had a lovely atmosphere. An eighties music mix was playing (subtly) in the background. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly we didn't sample the wines (the wine list was huge). The presentation of the food matched the quality of the food. It wasn't all show. Our daughter just grinned as she devoured the Spaghettoni with meat sauce and dried cardoncelli mushrooms. I sampled the Stuffed eggplant, buffalo mozzarella sauce and basil fondant which I'd happily eat again. It would have been rude to not sample the desserts (and besides, was that a spot of rain outside?). The blueberry cheesecake was served as whipped blueberries and soft cheese on crushed biscuit base - my daughter was now in heaven (and she doesn't eat blueberries). I tried a ricotta cheese dessert (with marsala?) which was delicious and so very light. Next time (and I very much hope there will be) we need to stay in the area so we can eat and sample the wines.

A beautiful interior belies the on street presence. We had a table in an alcove surrounded by excellent wines…if only I had had a corkscrew with me! The food was individually prepared and served by friendly staff, who sure knew their thing. The food was awesome but the wine list is stellar. We just loved it all. Have to be honest and say that as Alberobello is a tourist town, and based on the previous evenings offer, our hopes were not high, but these guys smashed it. Highly recommend if you want to eat in a real restaurant with real food.

Nice dinner stop

Started with pasta with black truffles, very nice, as well as veggie soup – cabbage, eggplant and zuchinni, also very nice. Wife had a grilled pork chop wrapped in a cabbage leaf. I had grilled veal tenderloin – with some kind of greens (turnip greens?) All was good, but I think the meat could have used a sauce of some kind. Insalada mixta was good, basic, but good. Dessert was a vanilla/raspberry ice cream thing. Big wine list, lots of reasonably priced ones too. A couple nice selections by the glass. Elegant, pleasant ambiance, English spoken by an attentive and friendly waiter.

Fantastic meal

What a magnificent meal. We reserved in advance by email and were given the table at the back in the alcove with loads of character. An Aladdin’s cave of amazing wine surrounded me… if only I had brought a corkscrew… The food was absolutely divine. From the cover charge taster (tomato purée. Pea and croutons) to the superb entrees (burrata and orecchiette pasta) and spaghettini and entrecôte were absolutely delicious. What a fine piece of steak! We had one of each of the 2 desserts… the amazing chocolate soufflé with the thinnest of crusts and the apple dessert was also delicious. The negronis were very good. But the wine list is also amazing. We had a fantastic Brunello for EUR 65 which is nowadays a bargain price. The decor, the service, the music, the food, what a great meal and we thought being a tourist town it wouldn’t be that good. One of our best meals in Italy and you can see from our profile that we are no stranger to Italy! If you are coming to Alberobello then book ahead!

A gem of a restaurant in Alberobello

A gem of a restaurant. A very intimate dining experience . The food was exceptional and the wine cellar was deserving of the accolades it receives from the Wine Spectator. Our waiter and sommelier were so welcoming and gracious. Our hotel highly recommended this restaurant and so do I!!!!!! I give it a 10 star rating !!!!!!!!

Exceptional food and welcoming staff

This was a fabulous experience, so much so that we revisited later in the week. The menu is short but exceptionally good and surprising. There is an extensive wine menu but the incredibly helpful and friendly staff are on hand to offer their recommendations. The staff could not have been more welcoming and genuinely friendly - we returned as much because of the warm welcome as for the food. Thank you as well for the great music!

A wonderful quant and top tier restaurant in the middle of a perfect setting. The owner is a lifelong resident and knows more about the food, wine and history than anyone we met. His recommendations for local wine and dishes were perfect. He created one of the best meals of our trip. If I could give it 6 Stars I would.

Great setting ,good host,the dishes were attractive and delicious with incredible attention to detail. The wines suggested were very good and reasonably priced. Fine dining on a warm evening in one of the most beautiful towns in Italy very hard to beat.

Tasty, local food

Excellent meal. Started with amuse bouche which was very tasty.. Starters- burrata and anchovies to share. Burrata delicious but anchovies missed the mark for my husband as thought they’d be fresh not from a tin. They were excellent quality ones though. Our mains of octopus, and veal tasty. Service outstanding, wine recommendations excellent. Definitely worth a visit

Superb high end restaurant with amazing wines and a great host

Enjoyed a fantastic evening in a beautiful wine themed restaurant with a superb wine list, great music, a superb host and most importantly fabulous food. Beautiful creative crockery and beautifully crafted meals. I must add a special note for Francesco who is the perfect host. Please visit. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely lunch spot.

Lovely little spot with great wine list and very good food. Very accommodating and friendly staff that speaks English well. Great stop when visiting Alberobello.

Limited menu, small portions

Surprised by all great reviews here. We booked this restaurant based on the reviews and were quite disappointed. Food is very average, over salted, portions are super small and overpriced, menu is very limited.
