FAVOLA IN TAVOLA, Alberobello

Ended up here on our first night in Alberobello. It was absolutely amazing. Very refined dining and spectacular food. We asked for a wine selection and were recommended one at a very reasonable price.

Very nice restaurant in a suggestive street of Alberobello. The food they offer is a good mix between italian traditions and new cooking techniques. Please don’t come here pretending to eat 200gr spaghetti or pizza... it’s a pretty chic restaurant where you go to take...a seat if you want to taste something particular and drink a good glass of wine. For celiac people: I said I have a problem with gluten and the guys were very kind: they checked all the receipts and found appropriate and allowed food also for me.More

Excellent food, wine and service.

Excellent food, wine and service. Superb service from the owner. We had one of the best ever Polpos which was cooked to perfection. Very cosy place the show they care for quality

Intimate simplicity

We had the tasting menu and all was original and interesting the recommend wines were very good and fit the course exactly. Service was good and the owners were friendly and accomodating.

Romantic dining experience

We had pleasure dining here last night. Food was excellent. Simple ingredients but perfectly executed. Portions not huge but for us were perfect. We only had a couple of glasses of wine which were fab. So a relatively cheap night given the quality of the...food and service we received. All in all an excellent night which I would be very happy to repeat had I been staying longer in Alberobello.More

This is a excellent establishment for fine dining. The dishes are prepared with extreme care for presentation and taste. As a former student at the Culinary Institute of America, I feel qualified to state this. The service is perfect with allowing the proper time to...be seated and served. Very nice

We found this little gem almost by accident. Its a small restaurant that has its own take on Italian cuisine and for that reason alone it is already worthwhile visiting. Super hospitality and good food

Good food and very kind & attentive service! Small, intimate restaurant. Incredibly friendly owner/manager insisted on giving my husband a Cuban cigar after he had asked about his collection.

Last minute dinner on Sunday evening.

We had just arrived in Alberobello and our hostess recommended this restaurant. We did not have a reservation and the restaurant is small. We were therefore delighted to get a table and so glad we did. The service was excellent and the menu not over...extensive, indicating that the chef sources locally and takes a pride in the cooking. There is even a tasting menu ! If we were staying longer, we would definitely go back.More
