Very tasty lunch and great atmosphere! I'll recommand the aratro starter ( a variety of starters). The waiters are very friendly and warm. If you'll come in Alberobello you must take the lunch or dinner at L'aratro.

Food is very good but sadly we ate our main course 20 minutes apart ! Although we both ordered the same main meal my wife's arrived 20 minutes before mine and she had finished hers by the time my meal arrived ! Plenty of lip service apology but no genuine concern and no offer of any reduction on the bill.... More

This restaurant is just in the centre of beautiful Alberobello. The food, the service is really good. Traditional dishes are very tasty. The owner Domenico is a very nice guy, helps out to every single customer and makes sure everybody is happy. This is a very recommended family run traditional very good italian restaurant !

When strolling along the streets of these unique houses and building structures, it was very nice to find a local restaurant within this place. In mid February there is not much tourism going on, so it was good to see local (Italians) walking in to stop and eat here. Try the local pasta or risotto and the traditional caprese salad,... More

The reviews are true. This place is great. I asked directions to a local and she said "L'Aratro? You have chosen well!". Had the antipasto (terrific) and the mixed grill. My wife had the veal in a fig and wine sauce that she said was amazing. We had espresso and watermelon for dessert. A bit more expensive than many restaurants... More

Big waiters, big portions, big flavours. The food here is excellent, and really pays tribute to the ingredients. They do not seem to load the food with butter etc to create the richness, and rather let the "slow food" ingredients speak for themselves. As a result you get to really taste the local ingredients and recipes. The service is amazing,... More

We went here on the recommendation of the resort that we are staying in and were not disappointed. The service, although a little slow was excellent, with the waiting staff being extremely polite and helpful in making suggestions. We ordered the typical local starter, which initially seemed expensive at €18 per person but the dishes kept on coming and we... More

we had a wonderful evening in this restaurant that serves real typical Puglia food with local products. we recommend the mix of starters and you will be served with 10 different specialities. the waiter offered us the licor made by his grand'ma. the service is excellent, though not very quick to start. we recommend trying that restaurant rather than the...
