We were recommended this place by our hotel and were not let down. The mixed antipasti blew our mind and we tasted so many things we had never tasted before. Great first experience of the rabbit alla ischitana. Friendly service. Huge portions. Gorgeous sunset.

We were ten persons having a lovely dinner, enjoying rabbit, pasta and entrecôte, with wine and desserts. The restaurant is a bit off road, but if you are in search of a special and «rustic» experience this is it. You can reach the place by...bus and walk ten minutts, or take a taxi from the bus up hill. Ps. They have glutenfree options!More

I can’t speak more highly of the food in this restaurant. Perfect “home cooked” food...which in my book is the best kind!!! You can keep your Michelin star foams, this is proper food and I’d eat it every day of the year. The ricotta gnocchi...were fantastic (and by all accounts the pappardelle with rabbit sauce was equally good). The centre piece was the ischiatana rabbit...delicious (FYI you need to order in advance). The mixed veg was also great...who would have thought cabbage and chard could taste so good? If we ever return to Ischia then we will definitely be coming back here! (And the view is pretty good too...!)More

Wanted to try a traditional meal while on the island and this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent, coniglio so flavoursome, good portions and service excellent (English speaking, if needed). Would recommend booking ahead (and pre-ordering the rabbit) which can easily be done...via email. Oh and the view is stunning! (Take a taxi if you’re a nervous driver though....).More

I went here for lunch with my husband, 19 month old, and cousin from the island. The view is breathtaking, the atmosphere very cordial. We started off with bruschette....the tomatoes were plentiful and delicious. Then we had bucatini in rabbit sauce which was followed by the...rabbit cooked "all'ischitana" in a ceramic dish. So delicious! For dessert we had a tartufo that had peach inside. Finally, rucolino topped the meal. I would say that if one visits Ischia one MUST visit this restaurant for a taste of Ischia's traditional cuisine. Cheers!More

The food here was good, bordering on great. The sausages in the mixed grill were amazing (white wine in them apparently). The location is good, but would have been incredible if it was on the other side of the road, as the view would be...incredible. Nice staff, very clean.More

We wanted to try the local delicatessen which is baked rabbit with mushrooms but it was for 40 euros! Ordinary chicken was for 26 euro. The choice in menu was quite limited. So we left this place and had a lunch at another restaurant.
